Carlton River Escape

Carlton River Escape was completed in 2023 and built as a peaceful hide away retreat on the back 50 acres of our property. It is nestled right beside our Swift Parrot Conservation Forest area which also shares it space with our local wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pademelons, possums, and eagles. Amid the fresh Tassie air, and the incredible forest views, you will feel completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the luxury of a secluded brand new home.

Salty Air Cottage

This cottage offers coastal charm an idyllic escape to either unwind or explore! It's ideal for couples, families or small groups. only a short 2-minute walk to the beach. There’s so much to do nearby all less than 9 minutes’ drive to restaurants, vineyards, a distillery, café, bakery, Pub, beaches, local seafood, a golf course and more.

Marion Bay --A dam good view

The apartment is self contained, comprising of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, separate toilet and an open plan modern kitchen, dining and lounge. The 2nd bedroom can either have 2 single beds or 1 king bed. The modular lounge converts to a double bed. This is non-smoking accommodation The unit is attached to our own house, but is divided by a breezeway which acts like an airlock. So quite independent from our house.

The Stable at Twamley Farm

A unique 1840s converted stable located in the grounds of Twamley Farm homestead. The Stable is a beautifully renovated two storey sandstone building overlooking the hills of Twamley Farm and nestled under English oaks. The Stable features your own private outdoor cedar hot tub. The traditional wood fired hot tub offers blissful, therapeutic soaking in the beautiful surrounds of Twamley Farm.

Tree Top House

Tree Top House is one of the 2 houses under Pelican's Rest Accommodation. Our other house, Beverley's, is also available to book. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Come and relax at our private and peaceful holiday home set amongst the trees in natural bushland. We are located on the South-East coast of Tasmania, just 45 mins from Hobart, and 35 minutes from the airport.
