Jane's Lodge

An oasis of peace and tranquility on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Country walks, wildlife and two village pubs on the doorstep. Perfectly placed for visiting local hot spots like Haworth and 'Happy Valley' country, with the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales around. Jane's Lodge is on a small farm, there may be sheep in our fields. As such we can not accept dogs or pets of any size, however well behaved. We are not suitable for children, toddlers or babies. Jane’s Lodge is strictly no smoking.

Welcome! In our house the Main bedroom is suitable for two adults with space for a infant cot at the bottom of the bed- if you would like to bring your own, please do. The second bedroom is for two children - with a shorty, small single sized bunkbed. One small dog Is welcome. Please let me know you are bringing your dog and we can accommodate for your furry friend. Take a few step's from the house & find public access direct onto a tow path which leads you to Skipton centre In 10 minutes.

Just 2 miles from the market town of Skipton, it is set in the small village of Carleton-in-Craven, with its own village pub, village store/off-license, regular bus services into town and local walks taking you across open countryside into town. The Granary makes a great place to stay when visiting this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales.

We are well situated for cyclists, walkers and tourists.

The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). The 1845 Menagerie is a one bedroom apartment located within a minutes walk from Skipton High Street. It is situated on the ground floor of a terrace property and is all on one level. There is a parking space for one car at the rear of the property. It is accessed through an archway which measures 2.8 metres wide. Several early morning opening cafes are nearby and Marks and Spencers Simply Food is just around the corner. I live across the road so I am on hand if you need anything
