The place is nestled into one of the last Virgin stands of 100' hemlocks left in the state, part of the Van Vliet Hemlock States Natural Area. The area is great for hiking, biking and any outdoor activity you can think of.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Guest Cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on Nichols Lake 2 miles north of Boulder Junction, WI. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there is a loft (reachable by ladder) which has 5 additional beds. The Guest Cabin also has a fireplace and large screened porch facing the lake. The Guest Cabin is one of 3 cabins situated on 320 acres of family property known as Singwakiki with hiking trails and 1 mile from paved bike trails.

There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! This home was completely remodeled in 2017 with a new kitchen, baths, flooring, etc. It is located at the end of peninsula, creating a private setting with north and west views of the lake. There is a sandy frontage, great for swimming, fishing and boating.
