A lovely 15th century farmstead, situated in a quiet location half a mile from the main road, and one mile from Porlock and the beach. We live in the farmhouse, and are here to welcome you and help you with your stay. We have a delightful garden where you can enjoy a cake or cream tea, and a large dining room and lounge for relaxing, reading, painting, with a log burning stove for winter months. Open all year, and welcome families and all dogs. We have been operating a B&B for 26 years.
Large double bedroom with sea views and private bathroom in our home on the edge of Minehead. Guests will have shared use of the common areas such as kitchen and sitting room. The property is an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of town and also withing a stones throw of North Hill and all its fantastic walking. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal and tea and coffee will be available on a help yourself basis. Tea & coffee making facilities are also in the bedroom.
Recently refurbished Shepherd's Hut located at the Doone Valley Campsite, in the heart of the Exmoor National Park and nestled in the Doone Valley, made famous by R D Blackmore who wrote the novel 'Lorna Doone'.
