Holne Moor Shepherds Huts - Combestone Tor

Luxury accommodation on a working Dartmoor hill farm, sited in a little paddock close to the farmstead, adjacent to the open moorland, with lovely views of Dartmoor & beyond. Hill walking, a gentle stroll, wild swimming & pure relaxation all accessible without having to get into your car. Each hut is fully self contained with a double bed, seating, kitchen area, shower, toilet & a wood burner for those cosy evenings. An architect designed self catered guesthouse with boutique cabin style accommodation for two. The Apiary is a converted hayloft sitting at the end of a 16th Century Dartmoor Farmhouse, a short ten-minute walk from Widecombe in the Moor and 200m from the Two Moors Way. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.

The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.
