A group of 14 of us stayed here for the weekend and loved the place. Location was great, with it being nice and secluded but easy to get into town for food, pubs and other touristy bits. The location instructions made it very easy to find the place. The Airbnb was well equipped with everything you need. The place is great for large groups and big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed.

The house is very nicely decorated and has everything you could need inside. It is a short distance from the city centre and the motorpoint arena which is very useful Eva was very clear with rules and instructions and was understanding when we made a booking error, thanks for a great stay!

Home from home. Ideal base for the Midlands. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful private garden. We highly recommend staying there.

Very nice, elegant place for stay. The house was very easy to find and the instructions from the host were perfect. The area itself was quiet and peaceful during our stay. We tended to go somewhere further, so it's hard for me to say whether there are good places to walk there. The house is comfortable. There is plenty of space to relax, the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, the rooms and bathrooms are comfortable. The host also gave us all the necessary instructions for operating electrical appliances. Large parking lot, fenced property, so you can freely let your dog out of the house and even lose sight of him for a minute. Definitely a good place for a short or long stay.

A perfect place for our family get together & to use a quote from our son ‘What a find!’ From booking to departure we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our host Penny was wonderful - great communication throughout, rapid responses to any messages, really flexible on check in/out times to help with having a young child with us. On arrival Penny met & showed us round personally. She was so warm & friendly we felt immediately at home. There were lovely thoughtful touches such a home baked cake, scones & croissants. Highfield House is absolutely lovely, set in gorgeous gardens & woodland. We were able to use the whole garden which included a play area perfect for our granddaughter. Beautifully furnished & with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Fixtures, fittings, linens & towels were great quality. The drawing room was particularly lovely. Penny organised a hot tub for us & this was a real plus. A fantastic, relaxing few days. Thanks for everything Penny!

It's like a home from home! A very well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful walks from the door and a good selection of pubs within walking distance.

We stayed at Kev's place for 2 nights for a family get together... brilliant and highly recommend.. even to the point where when we had a flat battery when setting off home, the neighbours rallied together with jump leads.. Would definitely return

An excellent place to say and great communication from Cara. On-site parking made arrival and unloading really easy, and it's a relatively short walk into East Leake centre where there are plenty of amenities.

Craig was the perfect host, probably the best we've ever had on AirBnB. The flat is in a great location, minutes walk from the centre of Nottingham and the Ice Arena with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, yet we could sleep with the windows open and it was perfectly quiet, like being in a small village instead of a busy city centre. Lots of thoughtful touches from bottles of water, pastries and biscuits to essentials like cooking oil, salt and pepper, plenty of toilet rolls, tissues, a toothbrush, you name it and Craig has thought of it. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and hopefully we'll be back next year.

Bijou apartment in a beautiful setting. Amazing rural views. Very quiet & peaceful. Very well equipped apartment including kitchen appliances, cleaning, ironing… more things than we needed!! We stayed for only one night as a base for a bit of parkrun tourism and on our way to visit our son, it was perfect for what we needed. Slept really well!

Good location for us visiting relatives in the area. Comfortable, light and airy, well appointed accommodation which was just the job for our stay. We enjoyed the dark, starry skies and the hooting owl. Would definitely book again.

With such a short notice Kiran responded to our request quickly. Information on given how to get there, sat nav will not take you direct to the property, and what was available in the local area was very useful. The accommodation was as described and extremely well presented. The whole flat was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Matlock Bath and the area has lots to offer, to stay here with a beautiful view from the window is worth while. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Kiran.

What a fantastic spot! The location is perfect for getting around the peaks and the setting couldn't be more peaceful. Being surrounded by farm animals and just a few other properties makes this the perfect place for undisturbed R&R. The house itself was exactly what we could have hoped for - if anything, the photos undersell it; it's a fantastic space and perfect for a couple. Everything was immaculate, the kitchen has everything you could want for those who prefer to cook at home, the bathroom is fab, (the shower is very powerful and just what you want after a long day walking, cycling or general exploration), and the living space is so light and homely. Mandy is the perfect host - she is super friendly, responsive and incredibly accommodating. We couldn't have asked for more. Her neighbours are also so sweet and accommodating - it was a delight interacting with everyone. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will be staying again. We loved it. .

Fantastic annex property just a few minutes walk from Southwell Minster in a very peaceful residential area. Property was spotless and benefited from the owners beautiful gardens both front and back together with off-road parking. Even though only there for two nights we were provided with a very generous welcome pack (milk, eggs, butter, marmalade, bread and beer) which was an unexpected treat.

Great place to stay, Sarah and Paul were both very friendly. The space was clean and tidy, there is a private garden to sit in and Sherwood forest is only 15 minutes walk away. There are good local amenities and there is off road parking.

In a perfect spot right in the centre of Nottingham, walkable to bars, restaurants, Motorpoint, Nottingham castle etc. great to have the outside terrace to chill out in. Will book again if needed.
