Welcome to our Hunchy Cottage located on two acres in the foothills of the scenic Blackall Range. Just 1 hour from Brisbane the cottage offers privacy, gorgeous views and a peaceful country feel. Only minutes from the charming villages of Montville and Palmwoods, a great range of eating options and just 20 minutes to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The cottage is separate from our home and is your own while you stay. You will enjoy great access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Welcome to 'Iris Cottage" a modern 1950's style cottage in name sake of my belated mother. Iris cottage has been furnished to have a homely atmosphere for families, couples, business, country or international travelers who are looking for an easy access centrally located comfortable long & short stay accommodation. Located Caboolture North in close proximity to the train station, Bruce & D'aguilar highways, showgrounds, Bribie Island, Sunshine Coast & Glasshouse Mountains tourist attractions.

The beach house on the hill

Our little studio is attached to our house, therefore you might hear us from time to time. It’s a beach style place , where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast on your own private patio. Please note that there is a simple outdoor kitchen, with sink ,BBQ, fridge, kettle and microwave. You have a private entrance via the front yard ( as seen on one of the photos). Our neighbourhood is quite , and you might see some of our beautiful wildlife, like colourful Rainbow Lorikket and kangaroos

A family of kangaroos regularly graze right at the house and kookaburras can be heard in the trees.
