There is no running water into the house itself, but there is an electric well pump delivering water 200 yards from the house. There is an outhouse and a wood fired sauna to heat bathing water with. Drinking water, instructions and firewood are provided.

The cabin takes its name from one of the peaks you'll see right out your window, Alturas 1 (Our 2 BR cabin is named for the next peak to the north... Alturas 2. The upstairs guest house includes a master suite with a private bathroom, beautiful views of Carmen Valley, large windows for natural light, and vaulted ceilings. Due to large animals and a second-story balcony, this property isn’t suitable for young children. However, non-walking infants may be accepted with prior arrangement at booking. No pets allowed.
