The Lomond @ West Highland Apartments 'Milngavie' G62 8AB

Visit either of our beautiful Victorian apartments, both 'The Nevis' and 'The Lomond' are located in the heart of Milngavie, 50 metres from the start of the epic West Highland Way. 'The Lomond' and 'The Nevis' apartments sit side by side with each other, they operate independently with four guests in each, but if you wanted to have eight guests staying over the two apartments this is also available on request. If you ever find 'The Lomond' is full on the dates you require please check 'The Nevis' for availability. Enjoy your stay in one of Scotland’s best towns. Make the most of the beautiful local walks, use it as a gateway to the City of Glasgow or as a starting point for the Highlands. Whatever you decide, you'll be warm and comfortable in West Highland Apartment. Book your stay today. 'The Lomond' has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay. The Lomond is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a brand new kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, and breakfast bar. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. The apartment has two double bedrooms offering a pair of single beds in each (as a special request either bedroom can be made into doubles). The larger master bedroom has European size single beds for the taller person and comes with an en suite bathroom. Bedroom two has two standard single beds and use of the main bathroom. Both bedrooms have mirrored wardrobe space and a vanity unit including a hair dryer. The main living room of the property offers a large 3 seat leather sofa and two leather chairs for the weary (or not so weary) traveller to relax. There is a 55" 4K TV with Virgin Fiber WIFI if you fancy a movie night. Access to the kitchen is done via the living room, offering that modern touch in a traditional property. West Highland Apartments use the key drop box system with a unique code issued at the time of your booking, but be assured we will always be on the phone for any help or support you may need. Milngavie Town Centre currently boasts twelve places to eat and enjoy a coffee: Costa, Cafe Alba, F Pizza, Andiamo, Finsbay, Garvies to name a few. It has over 120 businesses operating from the centre and its popularity is growing year on year. Milngavie is most recognised for being the start of the West Highland Way, but other walks, including the Clyde Costal Path, also meet in Milngavie. Throughout the year many events take place in the town including the Highland Games, Cycling Events, Car Events, Milngavie Folk Club, so you will have plenty to choose from on your visit. Don’t forget the stunning Mugdock Country Park or Waterworks for a stroll and a coffee. 'The Lomond' is situated 150 metres from Milngavie Train Station, which gives you access to Glasgow City Centre in 20 minutes or Edinburgh in just over an hour. You could even head off up the west coast, and enjoy a day at the seaside. The options are endless with this amazing location. 'The Lomond' apartment is also located on the main bus routes including the 60 and 60A. If walking is your thing then you will have Europe’s most popular walk right at your door: the West Highland Way, offering the stunning scenery of the West Coast, Loch Lomond and much more. It’s simply the best walk around. If you’d rather stay more local, Milngavie Waterworks offers a flat and pleasant walk, but equally stunning. Finally, Mugdock Country Park is truly beautiful in all seasons. West Highland Apartment 'The Lomond' has been built for you, the traveller. Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Georgian apartment set in 9 acre garden and loch

This peaceful and private apartment comprises of the whole lower ground floor of a Georgian mansion house just off the A82 set in an incredible nine acre woodland garden with a riverside walk up to a beautiful loch. There is a spacious living room with wood burner and large kitchen with aga cooker and dining. The bathroom features a double ended bath and shower. Glasgow City centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond are within 15-20 minute drive from the house which has private, secure parking.

Self-contained private annex with lounge/small food prep area and separate bedroom wirh en suite/electric shower and walk-in cupboard. Lounge has ethernet/ WiFi and 43” 4K Smart TV with Netflix. Coffee machine/milk frother, fridge, microwave, toaster, portable hob and kettle. Tea/coffee, porridge and cereal provided. Snacks left on arrival - pastry/ biscuits, fruit and dairy items. Private entrance/keylock garden/patio. On longer stays washing/drying of small amounts of clothing.

Private apartment situated in Glasgow's West End.

Affordable 1 bedroom apartment situated in the West side of the city with transport on the door step to Byres road, the City Centre and further a field to Loch Lomond. The spacious private apartment has it's own entrance, can sleep up to 4 guests and comes equipped with a full kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Within walking distance to supermarkets, shops, sport centres, restaurants and bars M&S, and Aldi on the doorstep. This private apartment really is the perfect place for visiting the city.

2 bedroom semi detached self catering accommodation 5 minutes walk from the infamous West Highland Way. Essentials in welcome pack on arrival, herbal teas, wifi and a selection of tv channels. Plug point in kitchen with usb ports, a dining area suitable for 4.A selection of books, local information. A water filtered fridge freezer is installed to keep plastic waste down. Only 1 PET per visit permitted which will incur a small charged when you book. Message us before exceptions can be made.

Location! Location! Location! Situated in Dowanhill this traditional garden flat is located in the basement of a Victorian town house (built in 1876) in a peaceful tree-lined terrace . A listed building and nearly 150 years old it has some age related quirks, but don’t we all!? A self-contained studio apartment with separate access from the main house giving total privacy for guests. Perfect for people starting their journey on The West Highland Way, or for those looking for a relaxing trip. The property is roughly a 15 minute walk from Milngavie train station/ transportation can be provided if required.
