It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

A Beautiful house in the small historic town of Great Torrington, local shops, swimming pool, Museum and arts centre all on the doorstep. The town is nestled on a hill with 360 degree views of the countryside. A great base to explore North Devon’s beaches, rugged Moors and breath-taking countryside. The market town is in my opinion a gem, full of friendly people. The house is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends, don't take my word for it read all the 5 star reviews!

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

With unique original features it includes a double bed, relaxed seating area, and kitchenette area with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and essentials. Although small and compact The Den offers quality accommodation with a crisp and clean minimalist feel.

Lakeside Lodge, Hot Tub, Dog Friendly, Fishing

‘Iris Lodge’ is one of three, private lodges situated on the second lake of ‘Venn Lakes’, on the outskirts of Winkleigh. The lodge has its own, private garden and hot tub, which is not overlooked, and has parking alongside. Fishing is an addition £25 per 24hrs per person, for up to three of your own rods. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, at a maximum number of two.
