Outdoor activities include many walks and Biking trails with two bike hire sources in the village and the Cairngorms are not too far away.

It has a wood burner and a Scottish theme throughout. We have aimed to make this a cosy and comfortable getaway for you to enjoy.

Numerous munros and hills are accessible within an easy drive or bike, winter skiing at Glenshee orThe Lecht ski centres, and endless hiking or walking. Ballater and Braemar villages are popular tourist stops.

*WINTER SCHEDULE* Enjoy the house itself or the 12 acres of mostly woodlands at our doorstep. Climb to the top of Ben Newe or Ski at the Lecht. Strathdon in the winter can be harder to access if there is snow. Always check the weather when travelling (October-April). Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
