Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Tulleng Sjøbu - Fishermen’s cabin-Northern lights

Hytte som ligger helt ved sjøkanten, stille område uten gjennomgangstrafikk. Dette er plassen hvor du blir alene i ro og fred. Enkel tilgjengelighet med 30 meter fra trafikkert vei. The cabin is located on the north side of Senja, surrounded by lovely nature and posibillities for numerous hikes in the area. The cabin is well equipped and is a perfect base for exploring Senja by foot, bicycle or car. You can drive to the door and park right outside. Very quiet area with a nice scenery to the fjord and mountains.

A large cottage with plenty room for 6. The kitchen have enough pots, pans dishes etc to cook for everyone. We do our best to maintain it clean and tidy. Sat in beautiful surroundings, close to the sea and the mountains. Peaceful with a stunning view. Close to Tromsø, but still rural for a experience of the landscape of the north.
