Beautiful lake access. Overall interior was disappointing- furniture was very old, kitchen was super small, hard to fit in front of stove to cook as space was very cramped . Stove located in a closet space. No spices, condiments, Tupperware, foil, plastic wrap, napkins, etc. Cookware was very scratched and peeling. Drinking glasses were stained. AC’s were wall units and were very loud. Place was expensive, expected a much nicer interior and much more kitchen supplies for the price. Most run down house on the block for sure. Back porch and grill had a lot of gunk on it. Stuffed rabbit with antlers hanging on wall. Needs a ladies touch for sure.

Stayed for a business trip. After a long days work the team enjoyed being able to cook, watch tv, play some games, and enjoy their own private space. Lisa is so kind and helpful she made our stay even better. Will stay again if back in the area.

This place is gorgeous and in such a peaceful location/neighborhood. The host was super responsive and took the time to help us get the hot tub serviced with a quick turn-around. Would highly recommend!

beautiful place,it was to windy both days so did not get to use the kayaks or have fire at the outdoor fireplace home very clean bring your own coffee pods, ground coffee was provided which we did use. Bring your own board games if that's what you enjoy. The view is beautiful Great pics on deck in evening The bunk will only hold someone under 125lbs guest bath has little water pressure at the sink. Shower is fine

Incredible home. This stay is an experience that our group will always remember. Breath taking views and plenty of space/activities around the house. Pictures do not do this home justice! We had a group here and had plenty of space for 9 adults. Rebecca was an amazing host and provided everything we needed. Had such a great experience

Derek's place had everything you need. I love the peace it gave us. There were TVs in every room but we didn't use any of them because we were too busy utilizing the outside amenities. Absolutely loved our stay. The lake was our favorite place to be.

This house was amazing, loved it! The hosts are the sweetest and if we had questions or anything they answered right away! Definitely will love to stay here again! Very comfy and lots of room! Very clean! Love that there was a pond in front, great walks in the morning!

We had an amazing week at the Relaxation house on Lake Austin. Loved the home layout and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the beautiful outdoor spaces. This spot offers easy lake access for boating or paddle-boarding, and some great bird-watching as well. The kitchen is well-stocked and there is a big game closet that kids of all ages can find activities in. The hosts checked in and made us feel right at home. Hope to stay again in the future!

This was an excellent stay! House & location are beautiful (pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in person). Check in and checkout were easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome stay at the cabin! Amir was super friendly, quick to respond, and really helpful. The place was clean, cozy, and in a great location—just a short walk to Civil Goat for coffee and Patrizi’s for amazing Italian food. Would definitely come back!

This home away from home is beautiful. I like how it nicely tucked away and allows privacy while vacationing. The home offers several amenities that make the stay even more enjoyable. The hosts are great with communication and friendly. I have already told family about this home and plan to return.

Our family met in Austin for the holiday weekend. Great location for a new experience. Close to lake activities. Everything about our experience was wonderful - highly recommend!

Very nice place to stay while visiting Austin. Taylor was very responsive to messages. We were able to walk to Rainey Street, the river walk trail, and many nearby restaurants.

This house is the perfect lake house getaway! My wife and I had a great time and were so comfortable. Flip and Elizabeth are wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. What makes this house so special is the sunset view of the lake. It's high on a hill with a perfect view of the setting sun. The sky is truly magnificent. What's also great is there empty lots to the R and L of the house. So there's lots of privacy and the feeling of being in nature. I'd prefer this house over being on the lake actually. It's one of the best views you'll find in Point Venture (maybe even the best)! The house is super clean and updated. The kitchen, bathrooms, and floors are all beautiful. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The coach is great too while watching TV on the projector. We had everything we needed and more. I can't say enough about this place. We'll definitely be back! Point Venture is a special oasis in the middle of TX! Thank you!

Lovely place, the backyard is the best part! Our only complaint would be that some of the furniture felt a little old! Otherwise, everything was great!! Super clean bathrooms and kitchen. Great TV, beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you might need to cook! Blake was super responsive and helpful! The check-in process was very easy, and so was the check-out! Would definitely go back!

An amazing place for austin. Will book again! It is so close to everything! (I.e. Barton Springs, Parks, Downtown)

When our original plans were changed due to the hurricane, we decided to head to Austin and found this listing. Justin was responsive to my last minute, late night request and had the place ready for us to arrive earlier than typical check-in. The house was exactly as pictured and was clean. We loved the view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. The kids enjoyed the games and foosball table. We read a few reviews that mentioned deer, but we did not expect there to be SO MANY. We were able to feed and touch them…it was absolutely the highlight of the trip! We enjoyed the private beach and pool, and we had a wonderful experience at Captain Pete’s Boathouse for dinner. We are thankful for Justin’s place for our last minute stay…it definitely helped us to create many memories.

Each morning, my kids were thrilled to see deer wandering in the backyard—it was such a magical touch. place was great! beautiful yard with a fire pit, pool was great. beds were extremely comfortable. if you do sleep in 1 of the 2 barn rooms, keep in mind no bathroom and if you do have small dogs, there is a possibility they can get under the fencing/gate door. but overall an amazing stay. highly recommend!!

The home was well equipped and absolutely perfect for a large group. The layout affords privacy and several options for seating on the outdoor deck to enjoy the spectacular view. The location is convenient for grocery shopping in town or dining nearby. I recommend if you are looking for a quiet family get away or several couples with kids. The bunk room is a kids dream!

Kate has a wonderful home and is a great host. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in the door and looked out on that beautiful deck and backyard. The house is set up comfortably and completely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for a three-week stay. Kate communicated with us to see if there was anything we needed. The home is private and we especially loved all of the deer walking around the golf course, our backyard, and the town. Thank you, Kate, for sharing your home with us for a lovely stay.

What a find! Great lake house located far enough away for peace and quiet, but within ear shot of everything you will need if you want restaurants and the activities of Lake Travis. We played ping pong, shuffle board, and the area by the pool is an awesome volleyball spot! However it was amazing to sit out and just gaze at the lake! We really enjoyed nearby spots such as the “Oasis” for food, and “Lakeway Marina” for kayak rentals. Everything was as described, and the hosts are quick to respond.

We were so comfortable, plenty of space to watch a movie together. Lots of seating inside and out to relax, eat together. Beds were super comfy. House was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials including extra thoughtful travel items in the bathrooms (and I did forget my toothbrush). Grocery store and pharmacy super close. Had so much fun with our granddaughter at the local parks. The deer laying in the front yard, walking down the street and grazing out back were so fun to see. Birds were singing all day. It was so peaceful and quiet. The swim spa was great for a soak after a day out either heated or just to cool off. Our hosts were super kind, quick to respond to questions and provided clear instructions along with fun things to do in the area. House was stocked full of games to enjoy as adults and with kids from toddler to teen. I definitely will not look elsewhere to stay on my next trip out.
