Walk to the many unique local dining & shopping options as well as the wide array of natural attractions Bayfield has to offer. Lake Superior is within walking distance, along with Bayfield City Dock & Marina, the Madeline Island Ferry Line, fishing, kayaking & boat tours to explore the 22 Apostle Islands. Great golfing, hiking, biking, skiing and orchards are also nearby.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Cozy cottage with screen porch on an incredible, peaceful 400ft lake frontage. Excellent pan finishing on rocky shore with Pier! A 10-15 Min drive from town of Mercer with shopping, restaurants, parks and live music! ATV and Snowmobile trail access. Public boat launch 1/2 mile down the road. A short drive can take you to beautiful Winman bike paths or river tubing and an hour north you can find amazing UP ski hills! Accommodates 4 adults comfortably and VERY family friendly!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. All season property in wooded setting. Ski-in/ski-out access to Whitecap Mountain, snowmobile trails and ice fishing.
