Second Bedroom Small, but bright and cozy (My friend described the experience of sleeping there as 'sleeping in a cloud') Double bed with high quality mattress and bedding. Underfloor heating, limestone floor. Lots of storage, and hanging space. There is an option to make the sofa in the living area into a single bed if guests would rather have their own sleeping space. Main bathroom With a very attractive green marble floor and brass fittings, a full bath and good shower. The house is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the bustle of the restaurants, theatre, and shops of the internationally acclaimed Dundrum Town Centre. For something quieter stroll to the farmers market, gardens, and cafe at the beautiful Airfield Estate. Take a short and pleasant journey by light rail to the center of the city. The station is just across the street. Visible from the house the beautiful Dublin Mountains are a mere 15 min drive away. Perfectly located in a quiet street beside the Dundrum Luas station (pleasant 13 min journey on LUAS light rail to centre of Dublin (St Stephens Green), trains every 3-5 mins. 7 min walk to the Pembroke District restaurants and some of the best shopping in the city at the award winning Dundrum Town Centre. O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. This is a unique opportunity to see the sights of Dublin City whilst staying on a Nature Reserve with the peace and quiet that has to offer. The Cottage is 10 seconds from the beach and 10 mins from Dublin City Centre by car or 20 by bus. There are wonderful walks on the island and also several excellent restaurants within walking distance or use the bikes for the 10k cycle path around the bay! You will be staying in the garden of Ireland in Wicklow. The horse racing centre of Ireland is in nearby Kildare within a short drive. There are several Golf courses within easy reach. The capital city Dublin is within an easy bus ride. Locally, a drive or walk at Blessington lakes is a must or a visit to Rusborough House.

Everyone adored our closeness to the phoenix park..There are many activities in the park including the zoo, the hop on hop off bus, segways, rent a bike to name a few.
