Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Our kitchen has a log burner so you can unwind in a cozy atmosphere. This cottage has a private entrance and each room has a beautiful aspect overlooking the countryside. And you could choose to dine in our restaurant. Please check opening times as we do not open every day. Booking is also advisable.

Please note there is no oven, however there is 4 ring hob, microwave, slow cooker and health grill.

La'al Cabin, junction 43 M6 7mls, A69 4mls just 2 minutes walk to The Pheasant Inn. La'al Cabin a home, with all you need for a self-catering holiday. The double bed was designed especially for the cabin, higher then a normal bed with a large storage. The kitchen area has good-quality appliances with a two-ring induction hob. Microwave, large sink. hot water. under-counter Swan retro fridge. Ensuite shower room.

Eden Grove Cottage is a delightful 3-bedroom eco-friendly cottage nestled down and quaint courtyard, lined with established trees and shrubs, creating a peaceful attractive location.
