"Kamara" meaning arch in English is a traditional Venetian building made from stone sitting over an archway in a public square. Its central position in Chania's old town area of Splantzia, close to the harbour & located next to the Saint Nicholas Church makes it an ideal base to explore from. Vines shade the entrance with the living accommodation up on the 1st floor. A sunny spot out on the roof terrace gives a glimpse of sea. Η ανατολή του ήλιου χτυπάει πρωί πρωί την αυλή και τα παράθυρα του σπιτιού και το λούζει με φως. 20 λεπτα από το φαράγγι της Σαμαριάς, 30 λεπτά από τα Χανιά και 60 λεπτά για τη Σούγια στο Λιβυκό Πέλαγος και 10 λεπτά από το πλησιέστερο σούπερμαρκετ.

There are two taverns in the village, and also two beautiful hiking paths for those who love hiking.
