It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. End terraced, 1 bedroom cottage situated in the centre of Appleby (1 minute walk from the Crown & Cushion and the market square) consisting of a lounge/diner and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven & microwave. Upstairs there is one good size bedroom (with the choice of king or twin beds) with its own walk in wardrobe & flat screen TV, a superb large double shower room with underfloor heating. We accept a max of 1 well-behaved dog when pre-booked.

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
