Our family had a lovely stay even our kids loved the apartment. The apartment is very central as it is walking distance to all the restaurants and the city centre. It has a beautiful view of the lake from the lounge and the balcony, peaceful surroundings and it has free parking which is very convenient. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Kelly’s place was extremely cosy and was definitely the nicest Airbnb my friends and I stayed in during our road trip from London to Edinburgh. House was clean and in tip top condition. Would definitely stay again if given the chance

Super in communicating, place is spotless, fun authentic and cosy interior/architecture. Not Ikea thankfully. Also comfortable tv, kitchen and couch. Matress itself looks new and is good, but bed in secondary room is in my opinion a bit short for an adult male over 6ft, if you are a back sleeper. Would advice this apartment for parents with children or shorter adults. Curtains are ok, but let in some light in the morning. would choose totally blacked out curtains, but as you might have guessed I am a bit of a hard sleeper. That’s why still rate 5 stars.

Had a 2 days short stay. Julia is responsive to my questions. Try here recommendations on food choices, they were great. The place is kept clean and plus point of washer that can be used. The place is definitely good for 4 pax with 1 bathroom. Living room is huge as well. If I come in a group next time, this will definitely be a place i will look out for.

We really loved staying at Fiona’s place. It was neat as a pin and had everything you needed. Being centrally located in Windermere it was only a short walk to the local transport, beautiful surrounding walks and great restaurants and cafes. We kept our luggage at the local information centre prior to check-in which allowed us to explore the neighbourhood without our suitcases in tow. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, private, clean and decently furnished flat in a fabulous location within walking distance of Lake Windemere, restaurants and bars, the ferry, boats and buses to the other lakes. Really enjoyed my three nights here. Paul is a lovely host who went out of his way to give lots of information on places to go, tips etc. Hope to stay here again on my next excursion to the lakes.

We had a great stay at Irina's apartment. We arrived by train and it was easy to walk to the apartment. It is in a central location with easy access to nearby attractions like Kendal Castle. It was easy to catch buses to Ambleside and Grasmere for hiking and touristic excursions. We would definitely recommend Irina's place for a trip to the lake district.

Perfect stay. Spotlessy clean, comfortable and right in the centre of lovely Penrith. Although it was dark when we arrived, Angela's instructions were clear and we found easily. Will definitely use again as a base for the lakes and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to family and friends.

‘Cosy Corner’ is exactly that! Great location for the beautiful little town that is Sedbergh. Delicious meal at the Black Bull and the community shop sold everything we needed. If you’re looking for a central location for two, look no further.

We really enjoyed our stay. Paul made it easy to check in and was really responsive if we had questions or queries. lovely location on the edge of Haltwhistle and made accessing Hadrian's wall super easy too. Mile Castle 42 was just at the other end of the road (probably still a fair drive/walk along hilly terrain so be warned)! Along with mile castle inn (great for a pitstop cold drink or a hot meal). The space was lovely and was perfect for our needs. thanks again for having us Paul.

Love the place, beautiful view, great location. Waking up hearing the sound of birds and looking at the river, what a perfect getaway.

Can’t speak highly enough of it! The folder of information on local walks and places to eat was clear and helpful, the space has everything you need. The little extra touches from a bag with a hot water bottle and blankets to the eggs and goodies just goes to show the love and care Cate puts into the space, and how important it is to her that her guests have an enjoyable, comfortable experience there. It felt relaxed and easy, and the location itself is stunning. A wonderful first AirB&B experience!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

This is a charming old place with the character and essentials as if someone still lives there. Very, very clean and tidy. It is set in a beautiful outerskirts area of Bowness with only a short walk to the busy centre. This will suit someone who wants a very peaceful and quiet getaway in a stunning location yet close to the township as an option.

matt and I had an amazing stay at lakes, the apartment is located perfectly for local hiking route and the added amenities on site were a welcome addition after a long day hiking.
