We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Ash Barn was in the perfect location for the five of us on our trip to ride at the nearby Cumbrian Heavy Horses. The house has a very airy, sociable space downstairs with comfy sofas. Upstairs, the three bedrooms and the squeaky clean bathroom were very inviting after a day in the saddle! We also fitted in a lovely walk from the barn up into the hills behind Duddon Bridge. Excellent spot!

We had a super stay in Helton, we are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The cottage was beautiful and very cosy and comfortable, it is really well equipped and we loved having the log burner. Claire and Chris were extremely welcoming and friendly, they went above and beyond and gave us lots of tips about local walks and cycles and the local pubs. We loved Helton and neighbouring Askham. Askham has a lovely pub with good food. The location was peaceful and rural but very accessible to other parts of the Lake District. Would highly recommend and hope to return 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Mary Meadows, the accommodation is just lovely and a great base for exploring the Lakes either by car or foot, the Aira Force waterfall is just a short walk away. Also a decent pub at the end of the lane. Joanne was a fantastic host, answered all our questions before and during our stay, and was really patient with us during the booking process. It’s nice to have a host that is personal and friendly. We definitely plan on staying here again on our next trip to the Lakes. Thanks Joanne

Our stay at Sandysike was lovely, it was everything we hoped for and more. The instructions to find the property were clear and we were met with no problems. Both Sharon and her husband are lovely. I had some car problems and they went above and beyond to help and were super accommodating. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, clean and welcoming stay. Absolutely loved my stay here - it wasn’t long enough! Such a beautiful, cosy little cottage. It was immaculate and beautifully presented, with a very homely, cosy feel. It’s in an amazing location with peaceful surroundings and not too far from all the places I wanted to visit. Sophie was very welcoming and friendly, providing great local knowledge and recommendations. I will differently be back and would recommend this hidden gem to everyone! Lovely, cosy little cottage on a working farm. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Gorgeous countryside views - loved watching the cows and sheep from the private balcony hot tub! We cycled 20 minutes to the nearest pub, the Milecastle Inn, which had great food, lovely staff and more beautiful views. The cottage is within walking distance of Hadrian’s wall too.

A beautiful space in a peaceful setting, Pat and Neil's barn conversion was perfect for the two of us and our Dog, it had all the amenities you need and was clean and really comfortable. We would stay again and definitely recommend! Really close to Keswick and easy access to the Lake District, loads of shops and restaurants a short drive away in Penrith.

Had a brilliant 3 nights away for my mum’s 60th birthday with 6 people and 2 dogs. Lisa’s place is in beautiful surroundings with a view you’ll never get bored of, very peaceful and with comfy beds meaning we all slept soundly even including one morning being woken up by the cows next door. Private garden with the hot tub and lawn games a very nice touch. Lovely welcome hamper with dog bowls and dog blankets also usefully provided. Place generally really clean. All in all a great trip and would definitely book again.

Bella's barn was perfect. It had everything that we needed and it was cleaned to a high standard. Kev went above and beyond to help us out. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was my second visit to the house and even better than I remembered. A perfect place to come with my loved ones to celebrate turning 30. I can’t thank you enough for creating a home from home. We didn’t want to leave! I am sure I’ll be back again!

Perfect, quiet retreat in a beautiful location. The accommodation was very comfortable with well stocked kitchen and powerful shower. We loved wildlife spotting in the garden - deers, birds and bats. Some very good walks, perfect location for the northern fells. Quaint little villages with good local pubs. Emma was extremely helpful answering my questions before our trip and makes the most fantastic brownies- thank you!

Just returned from an excellent stay. The property was easy to find. Pretty location in a fairly sleepy village with a couple of lovely pubs. It's a really good size and perfect for us (4 adults, 3 Children and 4 dogs) Lots of storage space to unpack and tidy everything away. We mainly ventured out into Penrith, Keswick and Therlkeld which were all a short drive away. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed - even Kitchen Foil which helpful for all the bacon sandwiches :-) Was a lovely hub to come back to after long day in the fresh air. Very good value :-)

Great property, very causy, just what we needed. Bathroom and kitchen stunning. Both hosts were very communicative, when we arrived we found basket with coffe/tea and some chocolate biscuits which was a nice touch. Thank you for your hospitality

Harriet is so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in her stunning barns. Everything is finished to a very high spec and the spacious bedrooms and en-suites are wonderful. The farm and countryside setting is beautiful. We were sorry to leave!

My family and I stayed at the house for a week. The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location, just a few minutes walk to the centre. We have stayed in Bowness many times, by far, this was the best location. The house is like home from home, very comfortable, the hosts were contactable if needed and always responsive. I would have no hesitation in staying at the property again or indeed any of the properties hosted by Cassius Living.

Eve communicated really well. The Airbnb was immaculate, warm, spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated for Christmas. Also just a short walk from Cockermouth town centre which was perfect for us. Overall was amazing and we’d definitely stay again.
