My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

My family and I stayed here for a mix of business and family time, and honestly—it was amazing. The house is so beautiful, clean, cozy, and just has the best vibe. You can tell the hosts really put a lot of thought into making sure all types of travelers feel welcome and taken care of. Whether you’re on a work trip, traveling with family, on a couples getaway, or just need a quiet solo escape—this place covers it all. They even had fishing poles (which I was so bummed I didn’t get to use), board games, music, cozy spots to relax, and so many thoughtful little touches. If you’ve got a baby or toddler, they’ve got you covered too. And that deck with the lake view? So peaceful. Perfect spot to just breathe. My daughter was obsessed with the little office/music area—she loves producing music, so it felt like it was made just for her. Even though my conference was about 30 minutes away, I didn’t mind the drive because coming back to this peaceful, tucked-away home was so worth it. There

Nicole is such a great host. The house is phenomenal! The house smells great when you walk in. we loved our stay. I would rent this house again! The patio, the backyard, everything was amazing. Thank you Nicole for being such an amazing host.

This place worked out perfectly for our large family who all came in from all over the world for our daughter’s wedding. We had plenty of room for all 13 of us to sleep comfortably. Lots of spaces for people to break off and get some quiet time too if needed. Everyone enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade and foosball table too! We didn’t partake of the fishing and kayaks but it was nice that they were available. Each bathroom had extra touches including basic necessities that one might forget.

This house is adorable! It’s such a perfect lake getaway. The house has a retro feel, with throwback-style appliances and decor. I would warn any potential guests about the stairs- the main sitting area is straight down a very steep and curvy flight of stairs that might be hard to navigate for some. The private dock was very nice, and the house was very cozy.

I had a few special requests based on my stay. Heather not only responded quickly, but she was friendly, accommodating…and did not make me feel as though my requests were an inconvenience to her. Both levels of the home could used primarily for your stay. The driveway may be a bit steep for some, but I live locally, and you can expect this for the area…so it’s not a detractor given that. Heather also explains clearly where to park and there are other options if you don’t want to park directly at the front door. I plan to return as this is a great stay with lake access and access to all the amenities around the area. Thanks again, Heather!

Great stay! The home is on a quiet lot surrounded by lots of trees. Fenced in back yard which our dog absolutely loved. The large deck off the side was lovely. Quiet, comfy place, convenient to the expressway and a quick drive to downtown.

We have stayed at many cabins in the North Georgia mountains. This is one of the most comfortable places our group has ever stayed. There was a beautiful view with a lake at the foot of the hill where our cabin stood. The beds were also very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies.

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a 'girls' weekend' at the lake. Karen's place was absolutely perfect and she was an exceptional host. We did have a small issue with the AC, which Karen corrected immediately. She was very responsive, very friendly, and very accommodating. (Plus this AirBnb comes with a DOG!! Sam is the sweetest goodest boy). We would definitely return to Karen's place and highly recommend it.

This is one of the best Airbnb’s my wife, dog, and I have stayed it. The house is beautiful, functional, fun, and well located. Devin was also a terrific host! I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re staying in the Gainesville / Lake Lanier area!

We had a wonderful week in this home. There were 4 adults and 2 teenagers and 1 dog. All of us found spots to relax. It’s been about 2 weeks since we were there, and what stuck with me was sitting in the back porch in the mornings listening to the birds and watching the great blue heron. If I could change something about the house, I would have 2 bathrooms upstairs, but I know that would be an expensive investment. It would also be great to have more places to hang towels. Thank you so much Jauxniece! You were so good to us!!!!

I CANNOT say enough great things about this rental and host! They have gone above and beyond with extra touches. The place is pristine! We have our 4 adult children with us and had the best weekend. Hiking, kayaking, wineries, night time fires and games! It was just what we needed to rest and recharge! We are already organizing when we can book another weekend! Don’t hesitate to book this!

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. If you’re looking for a peaceful place, look no further than. This is a gem for nature lovers where you can see many species of birds and wildlife while being near the city. The place is very comfortable and cozy. The view of the lake is beautiful specially in the early morning when you can have a perfect breakfast outside viewing the lake. The house has many table games and a great billiards table for use. This was a great stay for us and would definitely consider it again.

My family and I stayed here Easter weekend and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The area was convenient and quiet; it was a great weekend and the house was perfect for our stay.

The home is beautiful. It is exactly like the pictures. Adults and kids had a great time. Memories were made. We decided to stay here because one of my kids had a tournament at East Cobb. It was about 45 minutes from the fields. I definitely recommend.

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay while we were visiting Bouckaert Farm. It was a short drive to the venue and was peaceful and quiet. We also caught a lot of fish on the pond behind the house. We would definitely stay again if we come back for another horse show.

The house was comfortable for 15ppl. Plenty of space. There was a few glitches, but nothing too major. We should've gotten the pool heated but the sun helped keep us warm. Parking is strict so if you have more than 4 cars, park at the university up the street...it was easy. We had everything we needed.
