we really enjoyed the historic setting, the fantastic location near downtown activities, and wonderful historic neighborhood to walk around. the lodging was very comfortable and quiet. whenever we come back to Charlottesville, this is the place we would choose.

Adorable space just perfect for a weekend stay. We were in town for a concert at ting pavilion and it was about 20 minute drive to downtown area which is where we spent most of our time exploring places to eat and night life. The space was VERY clean and Bianca is an exceptional host who communicates well and added wonderful touches like wine and some breakfast foods. Great value and I would definitely stay again!

Carolyn's place was very clean and quiet. The decor is on the older side, but everything worked well and was very comfortable. Easy to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants, which was wonderul! Also very nice to have our own driveway for convenient parking.

Hosts were friendly, without being intrusive. Offered recommendations and followed up. Really enjoyed our stay with our 9-year-old. Reasonable walking distance to restaurants, short drive to groceries. Located in thriving residential area close to attractions; only a 10 minute drive to Monticello.

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

Spacious basement with ability to cook and do laundry. Just what I needed for the week! Loved that I could walk out onto the greenway for walks and runs. Easy and plentiful street parking.

Our stay was great. We didn't get to spend a lot of time just hanging around. Everything was comfortable and clean.

Great location! We had family in town for the lacrosse game and the house was a great spot for a bunch of us to stay. We walked everywhere.

Everything was great! Very relaxing, private in the country. Everything you needed was within 15-30 minutes away. Very close to the mountains for hikes, historic areas and the Virginia Scenic Railway train ride in Staunton, Va. The train was an hour drive, but you see a lot of the area either by back country roads or interstate. Host had lots of pamphlets, books and other information for your stay, good if you have never been to the area. Enjoyed the Shenandoah area again.

We found the cream of the crop of Charlottesville Airbnbs right here! The house is awesome! So spacious with lots of light, beautiful flooring, comfortable furniture and the best beds for a good night’s sleep, it was perfect for our family group of sisters.We loved the modern kitchen which is so well stocked and equipped! The huge shower in the master bedroom was a real hit! All enjoyed the hot water, fluffy towels and luxurious bedding and of course the pristine cleanliness of the entire house. It was a lot of fun to barbecue and enjoy the outdoor ambiance too! Rachel was immediately responsive to my texts and questions. She treated us with true kindness and Southern hospitality! With this great host, great house and superb location in Charlottesville, I truly lucked out and picked a winner that provided the settting for memories for a lifetime!! Thank you, Rachel! This home was perfect for my husband and I and our two toddlers when we were in Charlottesville for a family wedding. Rick and Emily were very accommodating and helpful, and my kids loved the playroom! Can't recommend this home enough if you're traveling to Charlottesville with young children.

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts gave clear instructions, so check in was easy. Breakfast items were available for our stay and the house was stocked with almost any toiletry you needed (or forgot). One of the few Airbnb stays where it honestly felt like you were at home!

We had a great stay at the Critzer House. It was just as described and perfect for our two families of four. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or retreat to separate spaces for some quiet time. The sunroom was great for starting the day with coffee and finishing with adult beverages. The location was ideal...30 minutes or less to incredible hikes, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Easy walk to Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner after a long day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

We really enjoyed it! Walking distance to all of downtown, the train was a little loud but not too bad!

We had great stay at the Townie. The apartment had everything we needed including coffee, filtered water, and snack bars. It’s literally just around the corner from the downtown mall. There’s free concerts Friday evenings in the summer. That was a fun surprise. Keep in mind there are stairs in this older building, on street parking, and 2:00 am noise when the bars let out (the white noise machines in each bedroom helped!). That said we would definitely stay again.

This place was well equipped didn’t have to worry about bringing any spices in a condiments. The bathrooms are well equipped, nice towels, comfortable beds. I highly recommend it and you can walk to the river.

I booked this for my family the day and everything went completely smooth as if it was booked days in advance. They even still offered early check-in if I needed it. Very quick to respond to questions. Location is absolutely perfect if you still want to be close to necessities. Kroger less than 5 minutes away. Just perfect! I was a little concerned with the noise level of our two year old but never got any complaints which was such a relief!

Loved, loved, loved this condo. The pictures did not do it justice. Very spacious and inviting at the same time. Isaac was responsive and helpful. We are already looking forward to booking it again next year! Thanks Isaac for a great weekend!!
