Welcome to Cook's Cabin, an updated family/group friendly home on a 2.5-acre hillside in Virginia wine country. We offer a 12pm check-in and 12pm checkout so you can relax & make the most of your mountain adventure. We provide many essentials including tea, coffee & filters, paper towels, toilet paper, firewood, 50amp EV and more. You'll love the private & tranquil setting with no neighbors in sight. Relax on the covered front porch or enjoy the firepit out back! We look forward to hosting you!

While remote, also a convenient base to visit area attractions, hikes & easy drive to C'ville. Relax on the covered back deck watching the sunset and wildlife. Over 2 miles of wooded trails on property for guest use. 15-20 min walk through woods trails (part of this walk is on a hill) to access Rockfish River.

The wineries and breweries of Nelson County are nearby, and Ragged Branch Distillery is just down the road! We can comfortably accommodate two adults for a peaceful and memorable stay.
