Nestled within the old growth forest of Simpson's Bay, you'll discover one of the islands unique stone houses. The Cottage is perfectly located a few minutes drive south of Bruny Islands world famous Isthmus. Central to bush walking tracks, birdlife sanctuaries, bushland reserves, pristine beaches, rugged coastlines and much more. Did we mention that wallabies, including missy, one of the local rare white wallabies visits daily. The cottage is suitable for couples, families, and small groups.

Here at Great Bay Hideaway relax in this peaceful setting whilst planning your Bruny Island adventures. Only a stones throw from Get Shucked Oysters and the Bruny Island Cheese Company and a brisk walk to the beautiful Great Bay beach. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.
