Make some memories at this unique, family-friendly waterfront river cottage (approx. 1,700 sf)! Fish, relax in the hammocks, or soak in the hot tub overlooking the river. Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required). Please note we have a video camera overlooking the driveway, stairway, and river bank below the cottage. This property has stairs to enter and many stairs down to the river bank, plus uneven floors inside. Please consider this before booking.

We hope you’ll enjoy sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the mist rise up from the stream the bridge crosses. Don’t be surprised if you see a flock of turkeys or a handful of deer wandering around. They appreciate the stone bridges and walls built by hand by Bob, who loved all nature. The cottage features 3 spacious bedrooms, each on its own level; a fully equipped kitchen; great room; dining room; laundry room; and a 2nd-floor loft accessing the 16'-wide balcony. A 20' x 12' deck offers space for outdoor relaxing and dining and opens to the large yard with fire pit.

Also, only a 10-15 minute drive to Kingsport where Holston Valley Hospital is and a 20 minute drive to Johnson City. Asheville, North Carolina is just an hour and 15 minutes away. Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood are also an hour and a half away.
