The newly built cottage is a two level detached suite including a large open concept bedroom, full kitchen, 4 piece bathroom, dedicated laundry space, heat pump (heating and cooling) and Telus TV & Wi-Fi. Your private patio offers a new beachcomber hot tub (4 person), propane firepit, BBQ and eating area overlooking the forest. You are 5 mins from the lake and several hiking trails. We are located 5 minutes from the trans Canada highway and between Shawnigan Lake school and Brentwood College.

On the door step of the Cowichan Valley (aka The Warm Land, because it boasts Canada warmest year-round temperatures) and Central Vancouver Island, close to Brentwood Bay College, Shawnigan Lake, the Gulf Islands, and 45 mins to downtown Victoria or 1 hour to downtown Nanaimo.

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen.
