A beautiful Red brick and stone house recently constructed in the serene, green coastal Konkan village of Thal with the beach a few minutes walking from our place. The house is surrounded by coconut groves, mature mango trees and a lovely lawn. The home built in traditional Konkan style has used teak wood from a 100 year old bungalow and all materials and labour have been sourced locally. This has been our family second home for over two decades and one we've watched come alive from nothing.
