Relaxation redefined! I thought I knew about serenity until I came here for a visit. This property is an absolute must stay, and we will be back! I enjoyed my morning coffee by the pond, watching the dogs swim, while listening to all the bird songs. It's beyond peaceful here! A quick flip through the photo book will make you appreciate all the hard work Laurie and her family have put into this property! Do not skip this Oasis! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin was very cute and fun, especially with the fireplace to tend to (during winter months), beautiful surroundings, and it was fun to see the chickens and goats on the property. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area, and it is quick to get back into town. They were also kind in their provisions- we got some beautiful fresh laid eggs! We also very much enjoyed the outdoor bathtub. Highly recommend

If I could give Heather and her home a 10 start review I would! The place is absolutely amazing. So beautiful, comfortable, and felt like my home away from home. The farm animals were so much fun to watch. The view was AMAZING! So quiet and peaceful there. Heather was an amazing host! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend her and I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again!!

Spent two peaceful and quiet weeks here! Surroundings full of nature. Deborah and Hannah we're very helpful and communicative hosts. Cozy, relaxing, had every amenity needed with special touches of natural soaps and essential oils. Slept well, bed was comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and travel to grocery is less than 10 mins for anything needed. A wonderful stay, would stay again!

Julie’s little cozy place was such a delight! The property is very well taken care of and maintained. She left snacks, refreshments, coffee and teas. The goats and cows are adorable and the nature walk behind the property is breathtaking! I would live here if I could. If you love animals and the outdoors, this is the place to go! Exquisite and serene! The hermitage was exactly what I was hoping for... a quite place in nature to unwind. I went in the winter and even though it was storming outside it was so cozy and warm inside. There was space to practice yoga, to sit and read, write and draw, as well as be surrounded by peaceful, healing energy. This is especially great for artists who want to be in an inspiring space to write, paint, or connect with their muse without distractions. The meals that Hiroko made were so nourishing - I loved all the different flavors and fresh ingredients. If you have a chance to have a tea ceremony with MJ or a massage with Hiroko, I highly recommend it! The Jade Valley Zen Nature Hermitage is a true gem for anyone wanting to unplug from technology and into the ancient wisdom of nature.
