Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

It is also close to the famous River Blackwater which was known for its salmon fishing. There are great beaches nearby Ardmore, Whiting Bay, Youghal and Redbarn. Dungarvan has a greenway and bicycles are available to hire if required
