The Lost Antler cabin is a place to take a deep breath and rejuvenate the senses. A space that allows your mind to drink up the deep history of the surrounding area, from wild gold mining towns to when the buffalo roamed free on the land. 2 NIGHT MIN during busy season & weekends. During WINTER: must have AWD or FWD, experience driving in serious winter weather (snow, severe wind, extreme cold); the cabin is located on gravel roads & dirt driveway. Dog-friendly ($15/night per dog), 2 dog max.

We added family antiques, new mattresses and original art (lotsa comfort and love). The covered porch is high in the trees with breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River. A stellar location, you will be hard-pressed to find a more memorable authentic cabin experience during your Montana travels

Look out for the local deer herd, our red tailed hawk's nest, and listen for our resident great horned owl. Easy access to Targhee, Jackson, GTNP, YNP and more. Take it easy and escape to our cozy cabin! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins! Located just 7.7 miles from the West entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin sits on a private 40+ acre ranch. Owner's home is conveniently located closely nearby and another, previously built cabin that is rented as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. Calendar for rodeo dates this season is provided below.
