The picture-perfect place was just what we expected. It was a peaceful, pleasant area and the house was perfect inside too. The rooms are roomy and everything worked great. Michael gave specific directions to get there and it was easy to follow.

We loved this house! It was so spacious and had all the room we needed. The pool table and ping pong table were an added fun bonus. So thankful to have a place to be with family

The Bunkhouse: fire pit, waterfall, games, private

Loved staying here with my husband and kids! Enjoyed our stay. With Roku Tv we watched Laura Ingalls series. My boys loved their toys. Everything we needed was there. Some of our things we didnt even upack because it was so cozy like home. Full kitchen supplies there and definitely easy to use to feed my family.

We loved staying at Jake's place for our family visit over the holidays. It was incredibly clean and fresh, situated nicely in town to be near amenities but nice and quiet at night, and overall just lovely. He has put so much care and effort into creating a little sanctuary in Mountain Grove. His communication was impeccable. He REALLY cares about his guests. It was, in that way, almost reminiscent of more classic bnb's, where the host really likes what they do. None of the cold corporate distancing that sometimes happens with this model. A real human. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was great! The place was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were up front about a (small beans) bit of damage from a previous guest before we arrived and then they were extremely responsive if we messaged them while leaving us be if we did not reach out first. The attention to detail on availability of cooking utensils, pots and pans, soap and cleaning scrubbies… etc exceeded our expectations from stays at other Air BnBs and it was wonderful to not feel the need to make a store run for supplies / a cheap pan to cook breakfast in the morning. We’ve got a new “go-to” place to stay when we are in town for sure. If I needed to find one thing to “complain” about… the scent plugins were overwhelmingly when we first arrived, but they were easily turned down / unplugged. I’d say there were probably too many being used for the room(s) they were in… but that could also be personal preference. Thanks for putting the effort into a high quality place to stay in a small town!

"The Farmer Loft" One of a kind - 1bdr apartment

It was charming and quiet. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We came during a winter storm and there were no power issues and it stayed warm! The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Downtown Retreat in the Heart of Mansfield

This is a great location in the tiny, quaint town of Mansfield. We were in town for a festival, and this rental was perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating. Our host, Michelle, was responsive and provided all the information we needed. It was such a great experience, we plan to return next year during festival weekend!

We've stayed in lots of airbnb over the 10 years weve been volunteer medical missionaries in Africa and this ranked up there with the top 5. Honestly surprised to see such a beautiful home in a very small town while we visited family. It exceeded our expectations. Only downside is we only had one night. But now that we've found Stephanie's diamond we'll be back when we come visit again. And very high recommendations for Cattlemans Steak house only .2 mile easy walk.

Lauren was very quick to reply and the location was exactly what I wanted, on a farm in the middle of the woods along a dirt road with peace and quiet for miles. Perfect place for recharging.

Wow, we loved staying here! Jacqueline and Richard were amazing hosts and so responsive- meeting us when we arrived late and getting up super early to say goodbye! We love Laura Ingalls Wilder and Halloween, so being in this house for Wilder Days and while it was fully decorated for Halloween was absolutely amazing. Wonderfully surprising and delicious treats and the room was fully equipped with all the snacks, drinks and coffee and hot chocolate fixings we could want. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and we felt totally at home and spoiled at the same time. Easy parking and walkable to the downtown area and all the Laura landmarks. We can’t wait to come again.

The location was great- right on the square. I will say, beware of the train whistles. Some nights there are many and some nights are more quiet. I felt very safe with the public door being locked all the time. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot. I loved being able to wash clothes. Very nice new place!

The Friendship House is a great place for exploring the area, there is so much to do. We came for off-roading at SMORR, but also managed to get in a visit to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum which is so close, and the connection of the families to the Friendship House is really awesome. Jacqueline is super friendly, and had treats waiting for us, the orange chocolate chip cookies are wonderful! The sitting room separate from the bedroom is really nice and cozy! And the back porch is very inviting; we had drinks and hot chocolate out back! The town is very walkable to get supplies or eat on the railroad car restaurant. If you like eclectic and different, and cozy combined with history and a friendly stay, this is for you! We will definitely come back.

First time at Friendship House for Wilder days . So much more than I expected! Absolute perfection in every way . Host was above and beyond and stayed in contact with me for any possible need I might have ! It was the most pleasant stay because of the beautiful rooms , quietness , cleanliness and very attentive host . I could not have asked for a better stay anywhere in Mansfield Mo. than at the very comfortable and friendly Friendship house .
