Our self-contained studio is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We provide a comfy bed and continental breakfast. The studio has beautiful views across farmlands to the Tararua Mountain Ranges and sea views the other side. A 10min stroll takes you to our picturesque beach, via scenic walkways. Peka Peka Beach is great for swimming, walking, or just sitting and relaxing. There are masses of tracks and trails accessible from here and within the Kapiti area, for biking and walking or tramping. A trip to Kapiti Island from Paraparaumu, is a must for nature lovers. For those wanting a more relaxed stay, there are really good cafes and restaurants nearby. Harrison's Garden Cafe in Peka Peka, is great and there is a good variety of eateries at Waikanae Beach. The Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae Township, 5 mins drive away, also for coffee and cake, or well selected wines.

Kererū Rest is in a semi rural position, enjoy relaxing on the deck or in the private outside beautiful bath. There is a bar fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Breakfast selection provided eg: muesli, bread, butter, spreads, orange juice,milk, teas and fresh plunger coffee. This may work for travellers who don't plan on spending vacation time cooking although a gas barbeque is available (see photo) Greytown is five minutes away providing boutique shopping and a variety of dining.

Greytown Yurts - Luxurious Glamping Experience

Greytown yurts is luxury accommodation with all the fun and appeal of glamping but with total comfort. There is a ducted heat pump to keep you comfortable all year round. The interior offers a luxurious and calming environment, with beautiful views across our garden. It has a very comfortable king size bed (183 * 203 cm), with superior linen, bedding, towels and robes. A one off cleaning fee and 20% service charge will be added to the price. Our beautiful purpose built B&Bs are set in their own courtyard gardens within our potager garden. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.
