The Carriage House Suites - the South Suite

Welcome to the Carriage House Suites located on the edge of beautiful Blyth Ontario. The suites are next to the historical former Grand Trunk Railway Station that is converted into a home. There is so much to do in Blyth and surrounding area, from dining, live theatre, a craft brewery, to shopping, and beautiful trails. The suites are a short twenty minute drive to the beaches of Lake Huron. There are two suites available, the South Suite and the North Suite. The suites are listed separately.

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

We have created a very unique getaway a long the shores of Lake Huron. In combining glamping and romance you will be able to enjoy the number one rated sunsets of Lake Huron. Whether it be from your private deck barbecuing, having a campfire, or relaxing in your own hot tub we offer the chance to disconnect and reconnect. A bunky with 4 bunk beds is included should you choose to use it. Bring your hiking boots or snow shoes and check out the near by trails! Private beach access steps away!

Cabin is partially OFF GRID in winter months (Nov 1-May 7) No running water/shower/indoor bathroom at this time. Water is provided with water dispenser/maintained outhouse Sauna & jacuzzi tub available yr round. Note: Wood hot tub replaced in 2025 with jacuzzi spa Cabin heated by wood stove in the winter months and supplemented with a mini split heater. Firewood/kindling provided Cabin situated on heavily treed 1 acre property with a creek directly in front of a quiet municipal road

You will have the benefit of being close to town as well as being far enough away to experience the beauty and nature surrounding the cabins.

This lovely, tastefully done basement apartment with separate entrance is close to everything. Suitable for 2 adult and 1 child. There is a roll out twin bed and baby pack and play in the closet in the bedroom. No pets allowed. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and trails. You can hike the trails in Wellington and Grey county, visit shops in surrounding towns, enjoy a festival, tour the farmers markets, go fishing or visit the beaches of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Blyth Brook Cottage

This rural property is a relaxing getaway located behind an abandoned railway just minutes from the historic and theatrical village of Blyth. This beautiful loft is nestled beside a picturesque spring-fed pond, surrounded by all that nature has to offer. Previously an apple orchard, Blyth Brooke Orchards, the cottage was once a loading and holding shed for the apples! Over the years it has been transformed into a beautiful living space in the country.

Bunkie in the Country

Now Open! Welcome! The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. For allergenic reasons and safety of animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!
