Awesome place with everything we needed. Would definitely visit again

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. What a great location with views to die for. We walked up the hill to join the Cathedral Cove walk which was really convenient. Jenny arranged some shovels for us to dig a pool at Hot Water Beach. It was really busy but worth the experience. The property is spacious and well appointed.

Great bach with lots of space, worked for our family group perfectly (including our two dogs - really appreciate you being pet friendly). Liked that the kitchen/lounge area was upstairs to take advantage of the view. Loved the window seat and the outdoor shower was very handy after being at the beach. Proximity to the beach was great too. Responsive comms throughout with the host. Otama Bay is such a special place, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Zur Begrüßung wurden wir mit frisch gebackenem Brot, Butter, Eiern, Milch, frischem Obst und Marmelade verwöhnt – eine liebevolle Geste, die unseren Aufenthalt von Beginn an besonders gemacht hat. Hätten wir die Möglichkeit, mehr Sterne zu vergeben, würden wir es ohne zu zögern tun. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und sind Roimata von Herzen dankbar, dass sie uns so kurzfristig aus dem Regen in diese traumhafte Unterkunft aufgenommen hat. Der Kaffee von Hunter am Tag unserer Abreise hat das ganze perfekt abgerundet :)

Thiis is a magical place with amazing views and a great location. House was equipped with anything we could need and more. Great coffee, lots of cooking oils and seasonings, comfortable furnishings and a very thoughtful guide book. We can't wait to return. Thank you Karin for being a wonderful host and sharing your home with us!

Closely drivable to town for anything you may need, but an amazing view from this side of town! Perfect little place. Well kept and everything you need inside. Would love to come stay again!

Location was fantastic, and the waterfront sunrise view was beautiful, and a great way to start your day! Enjoyed spending time on the porch. Self check in process was easy, and having a dedicated parking spot right at the stairwell was a huge convenience. Amenities were excellent & the space itself was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated Donna’s quick responses and willingness to accommodate our needs on short notice. Her hospitality truly made a difference in our experience.

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

This is a great location on the canal front with a view straight down the waterway facing north.The property has its own water access boat/jet ski launching ramp and pontoon which is really convenient. The pool ,spa and deck areas get plenty of sun and great views. The house was very tidy and larger than expected with plenty of areas for privacy if anyone needed that. The kitchen is equipped with all thats expected in a home to cook for a family group and theres a second fridge and kitchenette to use which is helpful. We would come back again for sure.

Amy’s house is stunning, the photos don’t do it justice, a really luxurious stay. It is less than a minutes walk on the beach, and the outside shower is a real bonus when coming back sandy, great design!location wise as well as being practically on the beach, all the town cafes and blackies are easily walkable. Outside space is amazing - pool, bar and hot tub, sofa seating all around the house in both sun and shade, and great dining space inside and out. All bedrooms had comfy mattresses and bedding, clean spacious bathrooms. Generous office Desk space and WiFi was strong. Useful to be able to put our bikes in the garage for safety. Amy was responsive and proactive at making sure we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Finally, must mention the whole home smells like a luxury resort, together with all the tropical planting outside it was like a holiday somewhere exotic!

Good location and liked being across the road from the beach to go for a swim. Pub short walking distance for a meal. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. Nice wee place

Lovely modern home on river by beach. Beautiful, quiet. Enjoyed kayaking from house to house wish we stayed longer!

Loved our stay! Wonderful location, incredibly clean and tidy and had everything we could have ever needed. The outdoor space was perfect for kids and adults alike. Plenty of room for everyone. Kathryn was incredibly responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Location was fantastic! Place was clean and felt safe and private. Sadly it was raining hard during our stay so we were unable to enjoy much of the area. There is a great pizza place not far from the cabin though.

Classic kiwi beach house, highly recommended. If there don’t seem to be many reviews here it’s probably because they are all in the guest book at the house.

A fantastic find! Really close to the beautiful beach. Nothing like an early morning or sunset stroll. Robyn's place had everything we needed. It was spotless, extremely comfy bed, amazing shower... perfect for the three of us. Thanks so much!

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Adventures Chest - Pohutakawa. The place felt more spacious in person than it looks in the pictures, only 1 minute walk to hot water beach with surrounding beaches - Cooks and Hahei just a short drive away. Felt right at home, had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Loved using the fireplace each night and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in since I can remember, I would love to find out the mattress type. Pillows were amazing as well. Stay was peaceful and quiet, 3 nights really wasn't enough, I didn't want to leave! The only downside for me would be how close the surrounding houses are and the other tiny home next door, but it didn't really disrupt my time there, still felt relatively private. Beautiful space to disconnect.
