Welcome to Waipipi Beach Retreat. We are the proud new owners of this amazing property. Having personally booked it out as a family over the years, we loved it so much we decided to buy it! We know how amazing this place is and we can't wait to share it with you. Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, infinity gas and a 100 year old weeping willow tree to relax and unwind under. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm.

Enjoy this peaceful and cosy well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Tea and coffee station , with microwave / toaster and mini fridge, heat pump provides instant heat, Smart TV’s x2. Our cosy guest house is located next to the main dwelling by, linked by beautiful decking. We have sectioned a part of the deck off for our guests to enjoy while they are here. The guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Great location for accessing Lake Taupo (5 minutes) walk including great marina and cafe. Turangi (10 minutes drive), World famous trout fishing in the Tongariro River. Ski fields, tramping and Tongariro Crossing are only 45 minutes away. Taupo is just over half an hour away to the North. Accommodation is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac.
