We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

Beautiful place! Went on a girls trip and it fit exactly what we needed, cozy, nice views and relaxing. Only things I feel the need to make people aware of are that the hot tub is off the side of the house and you have to walk over gravel to get to it so bring flip flops, and that there are a TON of bugs in the house, we had ladybugs and stink bugs all over, fine for us but if it’s not something you can handle then bring traps. Overall amazing trip!

We really had a nice time while visiting. Beds/couches were comfortable. The bear décor was great. We did manage to blow a fuse while getting ready to go out on Saturday evening (10 girls getting ready at the same time...), there were instructions for the breaker box but it was locked in a closet we couldn't get into. No time to call the office, but I'm sure they would have been helpful. This house is located at the top of the Wisp Mountain resort, very private. Bring extra trash bags with you (lots!) because there aren't many provided. Other than that, it really was a great trip in a beautiful home!

DockHoliday is a happy little place tucked between state parks. We enjoyed staying here for three nights. The house was suitable for our party, 4 adults and 3 small children. The amenities in the house were adequate to meet our needs. Keurig Coffee Maker, functioning Washer/Dryer, Foosball Table, and full size fridge to hold our groceries made our stay comfortable. Know that this house is on a two-lane road that serves as a main road around this western portion of Deep Creek Lake. The traffic isn’t constant, but the noise of passing cars and trucks can be disruptive to those seeking a vacation home that brings them closer to nature. Also, the living space in the house isn’t large, so noise travels easily. May be a problem for noise-sensitive people in your party. If sleeping in the master bedroom on the main level, I recommend bringing a white-noise machine to mask the noises of footsteps on the second level. We came to see the Lake and State Parks and this house was a nice base.

It added so much joy to our trip, and we’ll always treasure the memories we made here. We hope to return someday!

This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. The home had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The cleanliness was perfect, we will be staying here again when we come back. So comfy and cozy!

We had the pleasure of staying at this cabin during our visit to New Vrindavan, and though our trip started with challenges, it became unforgettable thanks to Shane and his incredible family. Our car got stuck in the muddy gravel road upon arrival. Shane and his family worked tirelessly all day to help us, even into the evening, despite lacking the right tools. Their determination and care deeply moved us. The next morning, Shane went above and beyond, searching the city for tools and successfully freeing our car that afternoon. To our amazement, he offered us an extra night at no cost. We’ve never experienced such kindness and generosity. Shane and his family treated us like their own, with genuine care and compassion. Anytime we visit the area, we’ll book this cabin and recommend it to everyone. Shane and his family are some of the kindest, most generous people we’ve ever met. We came into town for a wedding at The White Barn which was about a 15 minute drive. We loved the property and walked about 4 miles of trails and did some fishing and saw a LOT of deer. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I to unwind and realx- our cell service ( verizon) was a bit spotty but we were totally ok with unplugging a bit. The cabin had everything we needed and the bathouse was spotless! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable stay for us!! ~ Shelly & Jamie

I wanted to rebook this cabin just a few minutes into our stay! This was a perfect home base for a weekend getaway to Ohiopyle State Park. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming to our family, including our dog! Needless to say, we will be back.

We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. The beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was nice and hot. There were lots of fireflies in the yard. It was close to Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. All around it was great!

Perfect house for our little Falling Water/Kentuck Knob getaway with the kids. The creek adds a lot of charm and we didn’t bring ocean waves for the kids to sleep to so we just cracked the windows a little bit and the creek did its job. Highly recommend!

Our family of four and dog really enjoyed Tina and Robert’s Kendall Retreat. We stayed for 6 days and would have stayed longer if we could. Fun little area to explore, and their guidebooks are super helpful and spot on. The house was clean, space was perfect for us, and we loved enjoying the deck, fireplace, view and cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Ping pong and game system were added bonuses. Lots to do in the area in spring. Hiking, arcades/tracks, breweries, fun restaurants and also exploring the trails around the house. Would go back!

The turning leaf lodge was a great place! It had a nice outdoor space for our family. Has enough room inside and out. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

We just got back from another great anniversary trip with our 2 Vizslas. Bob shared his dry red wine this year. We now have had both sweet and dry! He came to check on us during to the cold spell and we assured him that the wood burner was keeping us warm. The dogs played outside, we played board games that were provided and we enjoyed cooking with the stove. It was our annual February get away that we take each year to Just have a few days to just enjoy nature and recharge. Thanks again Bob! See you next year.

Went up for my bachelor trip, can honestly say it was a solid place to stay. Movie theater was dope and the pool table & hot tub were great. We enjoyed our time

My family and I loved our stay at this property and would definitely do it again!!! Everything was beautiful and clean! The Wi-Fi sucked, so the kids and teens complained but it just made them find other things to do. There is a house being built directly in front of the jacuzzi so that sucks, view wise, but overrall it’s a very spacious property and worth the trip!

Our family (7) was very comfortable at this cabin. It was clean- smelled fresh, clean linens, everything was wiped down and the floors were clean enough to allow our little one to crawl around. The space was perfect for a summertime getaway. We utilized the hot tub, fire pit and screened in porch daily to enjoy the beautiful wooded views and clear starry sky. There is another cabin somewhat close on one side, but the other side is just wooded and we still felt we had plenty of privacy. The area was overall secluded and sooo quiet! The cabin was quite impressive, actually bigger and better in person. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and there were plenty of towels and linens. (They do mean it when they say they aren't providing toiletries and supplies though!) The only 'down side' to this property was the condition of the deck and outdoor furniture. It was pretty rough so we couldn't allow the kids out there too much bc of splintering. Other than that- it was lovely.

We loved this house. The amenities were great and there was a plethora of appliances so we didn’t really need to bring as much as we did. My family enjoyed their stay and the children loved playing tag in the house. The dog kennel was perfect for our almost trainee pup. We used the fire pit to make s’mores. The hot tub was was relaxing and the rooms were clean.

Almost Heaven! Perfect home, perfect location for a family get-together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and all needs will be met. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Just bring food! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful, and tall trees cover the landscape. The deer, chipmunks, squirrels and birds are right outside the door. The firepit was our evening spot to gather and chat. And toast marshmallows. And even though the kids are in their 40's, they made s'mores! This is a place to revive your soul. I could stay here forever.

My friends and I stayed for my 40th birthday! Everything was great!! Beautiful home….would recommend to anyone!!
