Nestled between two historic pecan trees on a quiet street in the heart of Rosedale neighborhood, enjoy the fully furnished, upscale features of this craftsman style garage apartment. Property includes a fully furnished kitchen with Kitchen Aid appliances and amazing hardwood floors that were salvaged from a 1946 teardown and refinished to perfection. Our garage apartment, built in 2014, is completely separate from the main house on our property. Guests have a private space with a private entrance welcomed by beautifully restored 1946 hardwood floors. Kitchen is fully equipped with high-end, stainless steel Kitchen Air appliances. We live in Austin's Rosedale neighborhood - a super quiet historic neighborhood located in Central Austin. Guests have access to the entire private garage apartment which is fully detached from our main house where we live. Guests may also access the garage to store bicycles, strollers and other bulky items. We greet our guests and then are happy to provide guidance and advice as necessary. Enjoy your stay! Rosedale is located in Central Austin, just a few minutes from downtown. It is right next to the Shoal Creek hike and bike trail, making it easy to bike to downtown Austin. The MetroRapid bus stop for Rosedale is a short walk from our house. We have plenty of free parking on the street directly in front of hour house. My place is clean, modern, private, light and furnished with attention to detail and design. It's close to Barton Springs & Zilker Park, ABGB, Soup Peddler - Real Food & Juice Bar, Gourdough's, Papalote, Phoenicia, Broken Spoke, Torchy's, Red's Porch, Kerbey Lane, Matt's El Rancho, Patika Cafe, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Wheatsville, Maria's. You’ll love the views into the trees, the location, the ambiance, the quiet near the action. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (but not child-proof). The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, and there are two separate bedrooms. The interior space is 750 sf, and the back deck is roughly 280 sf. The large sliding glass doors in both the living room and one of the bedrooms lend an indoor-outdoor living atmosphere, adding space and the feeling of being up in the trees. My place is the back unit in a duplex. It's very private and quiet, set off from the street. I'm easy to reach via Airbnb messaging, email or phone, happy to offer local tips. And of course I'm available should anything come up during your stay, as is the housekeeper. Listen to the quietness of this green and hilly neighborhood, close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. Alternatively, head for nearby South Lamar, which is loaded with restaurants, shops, cinemas, and cafes—there's plenty to do right nearby. My place is two blocks from a bus stop (on South Lamar that goes to Barton Springs, Bouldin Creek, downtown, etc.). 3 NIGHT MINIMUM OCTOBER 9–16 (during ACL Fest).

Look out on to oak trees from the high windows of this tranquil little studio, with its modern European ambience. Wood paneling and ceilings enrich the interior, along with a retro local poster. Play ping pong outside on the new steel table. The studio is tucked below two large oak trees which you can enjoy with the high windows throughout the studio.. The size of the studio is approx. 400 sq feet & is a very comfortable space. Great access to just about everything! Refrigerator, Microwave, small cook top & coffee maker available in the studio. We are available if needed! Wake up to a walk or run around the Hike & Bike Trail, just down the hill from the studio. On the way back, grab a smoothie at the Austin famous Juiceland. Spend the day cooling-off at Deep Eddy Pool or kayaking & paddle boarding along Lady Bird Lake. Wrap up the day with dinner at the hip Pool Burger, followed by a visit to one of the last standing original Austin dive bars, Deep Eddy Cabaret. You can walk, catch an Uber/Lyft or drive into downtown from our studio. If you like ping pong, enjoy some fun w/ the newly added outdoor steel ping pong table. We are licensed with the City of Austin to host Short Term Rentals. Airbnb collects the State of Texas Hotel Tax of 6% & we pay the City of Austin Hotel tax of 11%.
