The Mamaku Roost. Spacious in a Peaceful Setting.

This is the biggest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Very peaceful, lovely hosts, very knowledgeable. We enjoyed feeding Laura the pig and playing with the dogs. Good sized kitchen! If you love farm animals this is the place to be. Great location! Thanks Kim and Glen! Would definitely recommend this place!!

A Slice of Paradise in the City

This is one of the best houses I have ever lived in the world on Airbnb. Although the house is not big, it has everything. Marina provides all necessary supplies at no cost, and every detail allows you to enjoy a 6-star accommodation. Mike and Marina are artists of life, and I believe they rent out their properties just to allow more people to experience a better life.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Suggested a really good bike ride for me to do with my daughter. The Bach was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed. Would definitely stay there again

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Andy & Chris were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean. Paparoa Beach Hideaway Two Bedroom Holiday House

We had an amazing and peaceful stay in this beautiful, quiet house. Our kids absolutely loved the hot tub, and it was such a special moment when a weka bird came to visit us in the evening. The house was cozy and welcoming, set in stunning surroundings. We would love to come back again and stay even longer next time!

We have stayed before and as always the cottage was lovely in beautiful surroundings. Michelle is very friendly and the cottage feels like home. It is very peaceful and private and only a short drive from Christchurch.

Super lovely little nook Loved the wooden panelling in the room. Super classy tasteful art, (which is rare) We appreciated that the shower with dome was really high (he’s 6”5 and there was still 10cm space above his head ) ! Great water pressure too The bed was super comfy and linens super lush … so ticked lots of boxes Even provided an iron when we needed one

This served as a great little layover for us between Franz Josef and Nelson. Very lovely area, and Karen was kind, leaving breakfast for us, and allowing us to roam the property as well. The room was good and spacious and comfortable.

What a unique stay! We loved the massage chair! Extremely spacious, and cozy at the same time - the interior has the old school chalkboard, high ceilings, and those unlistenable school lights. 10 mins drive from Graymouth. Bedrooms are created inside the main room, using metal sheets as dividers. Hosts are very welcoming and pleasant, check in was very smooth. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Heartily recommend!

We had a great stay - thank you for hosting. The apartment was well equipped and in an excellent location (the kids loved being close to the Margaret Mahy Playground). Street parking was mostly easy to find and the apartment was very clean and cosy. Highly recommend 🙂

Forest Lodge - Entire lodge

Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! Thanks Samantha!

Michelle’s home was fantastic, more than adequately equipped, clean and absolutely stunning. It was very spacious for the four of us. It was also easy to locate and check in. Michelle also communicated very well throughout our stay. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Michelle!

Everything excellent!, especially for a family with young children. Many toys both indoors and outdoors. Very nice and quiet house and garden in a nice residential area. There are more houses today around the house compared to the ad picture but the house is still quite private thanks to a wooden fence. You stay in Sam's house so you will find her food in the fridge, in the freezer and her things in drawers and closets. So a bit different feeling than airbnbs that are "empty" and where no one lives permanently. We were very happy with our stay and did our best to make sure we, and especially our 2 yo, did not mess up or move around her belongings. Recommended!
