Beautiful house, easy to find. Lovely and clean. Had all we needed for our nights stay. Hosts were very responsive when we were left the wrong portacot mattress, they promptly brought the correct one to us.

Grace was very helpful throughout our visit. House was more than we excepted👍

Lovely accomodation! Super clean and the well stocked kitchen was great for our family meals. The place is huge for our family of 5 and the fireplace was lovely for us to spend our evenings together in the living room. Great location to explore around mount cook and lake Tekapo

What a perfect place to stay. The place exceeded expectations and is even better than the photos and descriptions suggests. The fireplace worked flawlessly and was stocked with plenty of firewood and kindling to use. The beds had nice pillows and sheets that were warm and enveloping - and one bed had an electric blanket which was useful on a cold night. The outdoor bathtub was the highlight of the trip - the view of the Milky Way from a hot bath in a secluded area was something special - even saw a couple of shooting stars. The home is a quick 4 minute drive to Franz Josef town if you’re looking for restaurants or the grocery store. Can’t recommend this place more. What a special two nights we had there. We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor fire pit was wonderful, the place was very well stocked, and very peaceful.

A spacious home with a lovely setting, with plenty of space to spread out. Easy walking distance to the center with a good selection of restaurants. A variety of excellent walking trails are within a short distance by car and well worth doing. We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely love this location. Used to come here when the dogs & kid were younger. The magic is still there! So beautiful & peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath- plenty of warm water. Perfect break from the hustle and bustle.

We had a very pleasant stay (4 nights), but we had to change our habbits. Normally in vacation on some days we are used to prepare our own meals - that wasn't possible (no kitchen, no sink in the small unit). But: in Murchison are some very nice cafes and restaurants.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Nice, unique place on the way to Franz Joseph Glacier or the other way to Arthur’s Pass/Christchurch. The staff is very friendly.

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

We had a fantastic stay drive was a bit steep but we managed in our front 2 wheel drive vehicle. Lovely stay had everything we needed. And very Friendly hosts would happily stay again 🙏🏻

Great place, perfect for a grouo

We absolutely loved our stay here! Isobel & Matt were amazing hosts! Very responsive and just genuinely kind. They even checked in on us to make sure we got up to the cabin okay and when it was cold they were quick to offer more blankets, The cabin itself was beautiful, peaceful, and we loved the privacy. The amenities were great; the fire pit, grill, and bath outside was spot on for this location. We would stay here again, hands down our favorite stay on our honey moon. Thanks again y’all ❤️

Stunning quiet location, very warm and cozy, great shower pressure and absolutely loved the pool table! Didn’t miss having a tv at all - lovely to be off-grid for a change. Huge deck which is all covered and would’ve been great if it was raining! But we had beautiful weather so also had no issues with solar power. Felt very lucky to be able to have our dogs with us. They had the best time too. Thanks so much, we had a great couple of nights.

Beautiful little spot. I understand it was during Christmas vacation Just had issue with dishwasher that did not work and could not be fixed while we were there so hand wash for a week . No microwave either. Other than that very beautiful places with all you need. We were able to cook every nights with guests.

Gumboot paradise is a wonderful spot to stay. It’s Kiwi ‘glamping’ at its best. Our kids loved the outdoor shower and even the composting toilet. Be prepared to rough it in style!
