My returning guests love how close we are to the city, yet you'll feel you’ve escaped it. You can get to the airport quickly, and directly access native bush walks. Our unique village hosts Wellington's best bakery and Chocolatier! Grab a bite and a beverage here or jump on a bus heading into the city.

Akaroa Apartment

Relax in this calm, tidy space ahead of your flight being only 10minutes away from the airport or stay local and enjoy what the peninsula has to offer. Situated in a culdesac, this quiet apartment block has beautiful views and stunning morning sun. The kitchen is fully equipped and has basic ingredients stocked up. Can sleep up to 4 guests with the use of the sofa bed in the lounge room. Carpark available with extra on street and bus stop right outside for route #24, 20-30min to the city!

The Art House

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.

This modern and architecturally designed compact 42m2 home sits on the city fringe, great location, positioned for sun and totally private surrounded by gardens. The moment you enter the property you will feel like it is your own private hideaway. *Please note you will need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the house which is situated behind another house on the road. Fully furnished apartment just off SH1 with easy access to Wellington's city centre, the ferry and Sky stadium. A perfect stop off on the way to a game, a concert or to hop on the ferry. This is a great base for enjoying the Wellington region and the northern suburbs. It is a 8 minute walk to Johnsonville centre with access to #1 bus line and the train. This apartment is on the ground floor of a two-storey house. BBQ available on request.
