We have new hiking trails on the thirty acres around us. One can also walk right into the Carson National Forest and have another 40,00 acres to roam. 59 miles to Santa Fe, 35 miles to Taos. 3 RV hookups for extra charge. Horses allowed. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)
