We had a great stay. The restaurant below is affordable, friendly and delicious. They are open late for dinner and early for coffee. It was honestly the best place that we ate in Harper’s Ferry. The Barn is also great and shares the parking lot. We took our kids in with us and enjoyed the local music and great drinks The space was comfortable! We read a few reviews about the beds being uncomfortable and being woken up by the noise from the cafe downstairs. We found neither of those claims to be true. The futon is a little small so if you plan on having two kids sleep on it I would bring a blowup mattress We had a great stay and will be back!

I reserved Don and Barbara's basement apartment in this historic home for one of our traveling superintendents, Tate. Tate was very comfortable in the apartment, it was close to our project and the grounds were beautiful and peaceful.

This was the perfect place to rest for a night on our C&O Canal adventure. It was a great location, near restaurants, comfortable, and accommodating of dealing with bike gear!

I really enjoyed my stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful and tucked away but also close to everything and quick access to the highway. I felt like everything was a quick 5-10 minutes away if I wanted to go out and do something, try a restaurant, etc. The room was so comfortable, inviting and clean. I also loved the personal touches Gyasi takes for his guests. It made the stay that more memorable. He was very responsive and very accommodating. I would absolutely book there again when I am in the area. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. It was great.

Susan was wonderful my kids and I loved the place so much we asked to stay 4 months longer and she was very accommodating. Anytime there was any issues with utilities she was quick to update and prompt to give updates again I can't say enough as to how great staying here has been

Andrea is a burst of energy and hospitality, wanting to show us in person how the AC works. Her living nearby and only being a text or phone call away was also reassuring for things that came up last minute. The big, beautiful dream kitchen was lovely to use and inspired us to cook more than usual. Our dog enjoyed the backyard and resting areas indoors.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Riviair house! The view was worth the price alone, we ate as many meals as we could on the beautiful screened in porch to soak it all in. The kitchen was well equipped, light and beautiful. The living room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the one story living area upstairs especially with our toddler. The king bed was super comfortable and the linens were all spotless and soft. Morgan was also very quick at answering our message and very gracious. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house/host to anyone! 😊

Perfect place to stay when visiting Harper's Ferry. This old quirky home has everything you need from comfortable beds to a working fireplace to the most perfect view. Besides being able to walk out your door and be in the heart of the town you have a porch that overlooks the town and the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers. When we weren't hiking or enjoying a stroll about town, we were on the porch relaxing. It is the perfect place to both start your day and end the day. I can't say enough about the view, you really need to stay here and see it for yourself. Dean was an awesome host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

I can't recommend “So Cozy” on Airbnb enough! This place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and an inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The host truly went above and beyond by leaving a delightful assortment of snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a perfect getaway, this is the spot! Five stars all the way!

We used to stay in a place not too far from here in PA. It slowly lost its charm, so we ventured out. So glad we did! Excellent hosts! The details they paid attention to did not go unnoticed. A wonderful welcome basket, immaculate home, and plenty of extras. We will be back!

Wonderful host! We had an issue on the second night so we had to leave but not because the host did anything wrong. Private, peaceful, polite, and proximally situated. A+ and would visit again :)

Incredibly peaceful setting within 10 minutes of the C&O Canal towpath and all the charm shepherdstown has to offer. Extremely well stocked kitchen and the new hot tub after a long hike overlooking farm fields was like an elixir for the soul. We will always stay with Dave when in Shepherdstown!
