Barlow Cabin has great Mt Hood (11,245 feet) old growth and meadow views One mile to Trillium Lake and close to hiking trails. King sized bed main floor, 2 bedrooms 2nd floor. Note that second floor access is steep not suited for young children or disabled. For those who aren’t familiar, Gov't Camp is Mount Hood’s beautiful alpine town, and offers easy access to world-renowned skiing, cross country paths, hiking trails, mountain lakes, and more. The village offers restaurants, pubs, deli/cafes and shopping; our cabin itself is not fancy, but it's super cozy, and just a 5 minute walk to everything! Welcome to our log cabin! We are a family with 6 kids who really love this cabin and want to share it. Please enjoy yourselves and know that we are not a big corporation but a family. The deer come out in every season, don't be surprised if you see them in the driveway. The cabin has comfy beds, lots of blankets and pillows, a fully stocked kitchen including cast iron to cook, fast wifi, chilly A/C, a wood stove for winter, & reclining La-Z-Boy couches. 2/3 bedrooms have smart TVs.

Come relax at this family cabin! Well behaved dogs are negotiable. Walk 800 steps to Pine Hollow Reservoir for fabulous fishing or playing in the water. The nearby Marina has boat rentals, the Pine Meadows Golf Course is just south of the lake, nearby Maupin has amazing river rafting, and there are miles of hiking trails in the adjacent wilderness area. Our expansive deck is also the perfect place to just recline and watch the wildlife, read, or play a game. This place has it all!

Unwind to the sound of the water in this peaceful setting, minutes from wineries, Gorge hikes, wind-surfing and Hood River.
