This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

Welcome to Stoney Treehouse, a brand-new 2-bed, 2-bath retreat nestled along the serene waters of Stoney Creek in Cairns. Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, this private oasis offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature, creating an unforgettable escape. Stoney Treehouse is tucked away for tranquility yet just a short drive to Cairns city and its beautiful beaches. Local waterfalls and hiking trails are within walking distance, making it the perfect base for adventure and relaxation.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.

Shed 14

Shed 14 is the perfect place for your escape from the rat race. Located in the quiet little town of Walkamin known for it's perfect climate you will have plenty to see and do for a weekend getway or a week long adventure exploring the best that the beautiful Atherton Tablelands has to offer. Perfect for couples or families there is ample space outdoors to enjoy nature or tuck yourself away in luxury. The rail trail is a short ride away with options to ride to Mareeba, Tolga or Atherton.

Birdwing Hut in the Rainforest

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Jindy's Cottage Atherton

Welcome to my eclectic cottage close to everything, a great base to explore the local area. A short bike ride or walk to the Atherton Rail Trail which links to the Mountain Bike Park, and the Atherton town and cafe's. Consider it a home away from home, rather than a luxury retreat.
