Very cozy and comfortable place that just feels like home. Super clean and you can find everything you need. I could see that the place has been furnished and decorated with good taste :) We stayed two nights and it was perfect to visit lake Takepo and Mt Cook area. There are a lot of nice things one could do in the area, but we did not have enough time. I would love to come back here and stay at Kathy‘s place. The place seems a little bit remote. That’s why it’s very calm and peaceful, but without a car it would have been difficult. Fortunately we had a car.

We had a beautiful stay in Otematata, very peaceful and clean - exactly as described in the listing! Nice touches too; a selection of teas, plenty of extra blankets, and a well equipped kitchen. This place is such great value, and I’d love to come back! Thanks Robyn and Ross :)

This is the second time I have stayed at Kevin’s place. I just love it. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, quiet and spotless. The location is brilliant with lots of walking tracks around the area and easy to get to Mt Cook. The pub does a great meal and the wifi reaches the apartment. The bakery does great donuts and custard slices. The view from the unit Is amazing. And there is an apple tree on the golf course just outside the door. Also the stars at night and amazing. I will be back.

We had a great time at Robyn and Ross' place - a beautiful spot with everything you could need for a quick North Otago getaway.

We loved staying at Fiona’s place. It’s a typical New Zealand holiday home (bach/crib) and is well-equipped with everything you might need. It’s nice and homely and in a very quiet area of Otematata. We stayed for three nights and used the house as a base for cycling parts of the Alps2O cycle trail. We highly recommend Fiona’s place.

Great location to town and small park, all just a block away. Kitchen was setup nicely. large refrigerator. easy checkout. Nick flower outside, great sunset and sunrise.

Such a friendly host, lovely family. Very comfy bed and one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in NZ. So quiet at night. Lovely rural Airbnb! Would stay again!

We had a nice 3 day stay at Paula's place. It was close enough to town to walk to the museum, restaurants, and Kurow Hill. It was in a peaceful setting and had all the amenities we needed. Paula was responsive and provided lots of information on things to do in and around Kurow. Would recommend as a stop on the A2O or travels around the Mackenzie region.

Wonderfully warm and well equipped home. Had a family feel about it. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless. It was great to have power in the outside shed to charge our e bikes. What a stunning area, and Kurow is a great spot to explore this region. Thank you for providing a lovely place to relax after a days riding.
