A cottage right by the Orava dam with a unique sauna is part of Slovak cultural heritage and thus protected. Fishing, swimming, boating, horse riding, hiking or just relaxing under the trees with the view of "Birds island" with more than 2000 birds or "Slanica island" with a gallery on it. Two apartments, a modern bathroom, and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is 150+years old - it is cozy, freshly reconstructed, and well-maintained & equipped. No TV, fast internet.

The atmosphere of our place- it is a winter evening fire crackling in the fireplace and you are sitting in the living room. This rustic house built in traditional Slovak style is in the centre of a little village called Zaskalie - Manínska Gorge, in a heart of national nature reserve which features the narrowest canyon in Slovakia. It lies in the Súľov Mountains, 6 km (3.7 miles) from Považská Bystrica. With wild and rare flora and fauna, its perfect for rock climbers, nature lovers and families. It's a short walk from the crag and very comfortable.
