Spacious Garden Apartment with View of Table Mountain

Go for a refreshing dip in a turquoise pool and relax in the garden under lush greenery. The tropical feel continues inside with hanging plants, original art, and casual furniture. This bright, breezy apartment is well ventilated and serviced daily. The space was purpose designed for Guests with simplicity and comfort in mind. The interior style is unique in that it combines Scandinavian and Dutch design influences with unique South African design products and furniture. The space is uncluttered yet personable and homely with creative interior and design touches throughout. Exceptionally spacious, the apartment is ideal for longer stay guest and people with families or babies. The garden and grounds are at full disposal of guests and the tranquil setting against the backdrop of Table mountain makes this a really beautiful place to stay. The apartment is serviced on a daily basis by a dedicated housekeeper who's responsibility it is to look after our guests. Guests have full access to the garden apartment on garden level, the pool and braai facilities. Laundry facilities are at an additional cost and do not have direct guest access. The housekeeper can arrange for washing, ironing or dry cleaning at an additional cost. Guests are welcomed and checked-in personally by myself or the Housekeeper, Fiona. I usually try to make contact at least once during the guests stay, but otherwise we give the guests their space and privacy until they need us. The apartment is serviced on a daily basis, so the guests will have daily interaction with the housekeeper to attend to any needs. I will be on standby if the guests require my advice, help or assistance. Oranjezicht, on the slopes of Table Mountain, is the oldest most historic neighbourhood of Cape Town. It boasts spectacular views of the mountain and ocean. Nature is literally on the doorstep. The apartment is also close to the city centre. The MyCity bus system is Cape Town's main form public transport in and around the city. There is a MyCity busstop 100 meters from the house. The Uber Taxi service is also very efficient, affordable and easy to use. Many tourist sites or attractions in the City are within walking distance of the property. The property is on 2 levels. The apartment and garden is on the "downstairs" level of the property and the garden and pool area is shared space on that level. There is a 3 bedroom house on the top level, also rented to guests at certain times of the year.

Both bedrooms lead to balconies, the views are spectacular. We are connected to a 24 hour security service that will escort you into the apartment if you are coming home late or alone. The whole apartment is available. Open plan lounge dining kitchen and two en-suite bathrooms, entry area and deck. I am an artist, so my studio (opposite to apartment entry) will be locked as I will use it as a storeroom. Located just a few kilometers west of Cape Town CBD, Fresnaye is one of the city's most affluent neighborhoods. The loft is just a short stroll from high-end Sea Point eateries. Head to Saunders’ Rock Tidal Pool on hot days for a refreshing dip. Unfortunately we only have street parking, but we are 100m from the MyCiti bus stop and we have found that most guests find using Uber, most convenient. If you prefer a personalized tour guide or shuttle service, we can organize that as well. Please note there will be extra outdoor furniture added to deck before your stay. Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Nestled amidst treetops on the slopes of Signal Hill, braai on the deck or curl up on the couch in front of the log-fired stove and soak in views of Table Mountain. Then fall asleep in a heavenly bedroom to twinkling lights of the city far below. In the morning, the Nespresso machine awaits followed by hiking and biking trails right on your doorstep. Delis, shops and restaurants are only a 10-minute walk, or a 5-minute drive, away - but safe, secluded, and immersed in nature.

Beautiful flat in exclusive neighborhood Higgovale with its own private entrance and street parking directly outside; on the mountain, 5 minutes walk from trendy Kloof Street cafes and boutiques and a 10 minute drive to Camps Bay beaches. Also has a smart TV, high speed fibre Internet, a Dyson fan, Airfyer & a Nespresso machine with milk frother :-) PS if you are averse to stairs, the entrance down to the flat has quite steep steps, and there are also stairs inside the flat!
