My SIL and I visited LA for my son's birthday. He suggested we stay in Santa Monica because we wanted to be able to walk to the beach, coffee, shopping, restaurants, etc but also near him at UCLA. Darlene's place was perfect!

The place is beautiful clean and quiet,Nataly always responded to my questions , I would definitely comeback and I highly recommend it .

Already dreaming about being back in Ojai and sitting under the stars. Tim & Danielle's place is very well-designed and well-situated for everything you might want to do while visiting Ojai. Peaceful and semi-secluded — and super easy to get anywhere, too. Communication was seamless, kitchen is small but well-stocked (though you should sample some local cuisine instead), bathroom is a delight, and that patio? I mean, come on! Thanks for opening up your beautiful home!

Michelle and Gary were super hosts and were very welcoming. Their cabin-like retreat had all the comforts of a well appointed Airbnb, from extra towels and blankets (tucked away in cabinets and closets) to extra backup toiletries (in case we forgot something like a toothbrush). There was a lovely fruit bowl and muffins laid out in the kitchen plus dry oatmeal and milk in the fridge for breakfast and coffee or tea. We were very comfortable and the place was squeaky clean. Next time we’re in the area, we’d love to stay at Michelle and Gary’s lovely place again.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Martha’s. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed, ideal location on a super quiet street. Thanks for having us - we had the best time!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Jon! Er war sehr zuvorkommend, was den gesamten Aufenthalt super angenehm gemacht hat. Die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet und bot alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt braucht. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um mit dem Auto Santa Barbara und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Absolutely wonderful experience staying at Maria’s place. She went the extra mile to ensure my parents had a perfect stay, and her care and attention to every detail were clear from the start. The property is really really beautiful – thoughtfully designed, perfectly clean, quiet, private, and located in a lovely area. It’s very obvious how much Maria cares about both her home and her guests. We are so grateful for her kindness and hospitality, and we would definetly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Nancy’s place was great! An oasis right in the middle of everything. The outdoor space is private, bed was comfy and it has a desk for working- had everything we needed. The location is amazing- a quick walk to the beach and restaurants/bars/coffee right around the corner. We will definitely stay as Nancy’s again!

This is my favorite place to stay in Carpinteria. Taylor is very nice and the place is terrific. It's very quiet and you can sit in the living room with a view of the mountains. The outside smells great with lemon and orange trees nearby. Taylor has great taste and the place is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It has high ceilings and it very airy. Thank you!

Great stay in a quiet, safe, residential area—perfect for my dog with a fenced yard and even dog supplies provided. Easy, free parking right out front and a convenient drive to Santa Barbara. The place was comfortable, charming, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and nice clean and quiet space! We were in town for UCSB alumni weekend but didn’t want to be in Isla Vista. Nice location on a pretty calm street and super close to the zoo. We really loved the mattress! We’ve stayed at some Airbnbs with some uncomfortable mattresses, but this one was firm and fantastic! The home has a lot of natural light if you open the drapes, so that was nice!

Great stay for our night in Santa Monica. Easy access, plenty street parking, clean and comfortable room. Thank you for hosting!

Chris was extremely responsive, respectful, friendly, and made sure I had what I needed. The place has everything you could need and is situated in a beautiful canyon. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here, I definitely would again!

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. The architecture of the home and garden is phenomenal. The sweeping views of the ocean are jaw dropping and made for a relaxing stay. Robby was very welcoming and helped with many recommendations from restaurants to things to see around Malibu. I will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend anyone book this home if it’s available!

Julia's place is a relaxing oasis in LA -- truly special. It's a safe, lovely neighborhood good for walking, fairly quiet. The hot tub works well and is under an enormous pine tree. The patio is charming with Spanish style details and beautiful plants. The bathroom has beautiful Spanish tiles and even a little chandelier! The large mini fridge has a good freezer compartment. Comfortable, supportive bed. Julia is a friendly and experienced host. thank you Julia for a wonderful stay!

Thought this place was great. Enjoyed coffee on the deck. So quiet. Nice to get out of the big city noise. It’s a small drive to get to any services. Make a stop in Malibu and pick up what you need on the way. Would stay again if in the area

It was peaceful. I had just been through a major move and had torn a couple of muscles so I literally had to sleep off the worst pain and that I did perfectly there.

Myrna and Bruce's place, despite being a very reasonable distance from the main attractions we wanted to see in North L.A. (about 45 minutes to the Getty on the day we went), felt peaceful and safe. I slept comfortably on the sofa bed; we used the very up-to-date washer and dryer and availed ourselves of lovely coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was cosy, clean and very pleasant. We unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to meet Myrna and Bruce themselves, but they kept in close touch and kindly told us everything we needed. Entry and exit were easy and smooth. I recommend this place as a great base for exploring L.A. and environs if you have a car and are resigned to the inevitable distances!
