Large porch and second story balcony over look the lake. Full access to beautiful diamond lake, plenty of onsite parking.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis with sunset views over Shavehead Lake. Enjoy the all-sports lake with our kayak, canoe or paddle boat seasonally. Bring your own boat to dock at the private pier. Two bedrooms on the main floor - one with a king bed and one with a queen. Washer and dryer are also on the main floor. The loft upstairs has 3 twin beds and a wonderful place to play games around the table or use as a workspace. Ping pong table and more room to play in the basement.

The Empty Nest hosts guests who need some R&R, are in town for an event, or just need a change of scenery. We are 35 minutes from Notre Dame, 45 minutes to St. Joseph MI & Warren Dunes, and 20 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Resort. The house is near Diamond Lake, Stone Lake, and many more all sport lakes/fishing lakes, snowmobile trails, wedding venues, and small town shops & restaurants. There are a few county parks near and a Casino within 15 minutes driving distance for extra entertainment!

Sunporch (with new sofa and Loveseat) faces the lake, with wrap-around deck beyond that. New Split/Mini ac/heat system.
