There is no place comparable to The Hug!! We’ve stayed twice now, with plans to regularly return. Stacy and Theresa are impeccable hosts who have created a truly beautiful space for privacy, peace, and a connection with nature. I’ve never felt more at home in any space. I cannot adequately describe the serenity of The Hug, but I cannot say that if you are an individual who is seeking absolute comfort in a beautiful home that is impeccably maintained then The Hug is what you need. We enjoy attending yoga programs at Isha in McMinnville, and the facility is less than ten minutes from The Hug. If you are in town for Isha I definitely recommend staying at The Hug; for us the two go hand in hand. There are friendly goats to love on too, and if you’re really lucky one of the farm cats will join you on the porch for your morning coffee (or morning yoga!) 10/10

This home was exactly what we needed for our large family visiting the area for a wedding. The house felt so “homey” as soon as you walked inside and the home was furnished with all kinds of extra linens, towels and kitchen supplies! Sallie was super responsive as we planned for the trip and made sure we had exact directions into the area.

Great airbnb located a short distance away from Cookeville, TN. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Michael's home was Beautiful and clean. It was well stocked with everything we could have needed. Having private water access was the main selling point for us. We loved all the hidden gems through out the house for the kids. Toys and games in the closets, along with family movies, and game system were wonderful. I had many questions about the listing, the area, and the water. Michael was always very quick to respond and helpful. I would recommend this home and would absolutely stay here again.

Google indicated the house was on the opposite side of the road so the red chairs were a great landmark! They fed cows, calves and a donkey right across from the windows. such fun to watch. We visited 3 State Parks nearby. Great location for that.

This property was exceptional! It was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything one could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the back porch, which provided a wonderful space to relax. The hosts thoughtfully provided all linens, sound machines, soaps, and additional amenities that enhanced our stay. My family & I felt extremely comfortable and well-cared for during our visit. Although the property is located on a busy road, it did not significantly impact our experience. We are looking forward to returning soon! Meagan (host) was super nice as well!

This home is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable, and very well stocked! It had everything we could ever want, including ample amenities, spacious and comfy rooms and furniture, and a super beautiful and peaceful view! Loved the location for visiting Rock Island, Burgess Falls, Cummins Falls, and fall Creek Falls. There were definitely other places I would have loved to have seen nearby if we had had more time. The host was very informative, responsive, and friendly! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, cozy, comfy retreat, look no further! We loved everything about Ron and Joyce’s place. They obviously care very much about their guests’ experience and have included too many thoughtful details to mention. We really couldn’t have been happier and only wish we could have stayed longer.

My friend and I had stayed here over the weekend, it was great for what we were needing. We were going to a music festival over the weekend and we had all essentials and Vicky was very nice. The area is also nice and peaceful it was a great place to have a break at between the festival.

Another excellent night stay at the Barren Rest. We always are pleasantly pleased with this location. We will return in the near future. Thank you Penny again, for offering your place to stay.

It was beautiful. Clean, cute, and perfect for my inlaws. A bathroom in each bedroom was much appreciated by my sister in law who drove them here! Close to town, so we could grab food to go and hang out and talk in the townhouse. They came a day early and Jeff got us in a day before we were scheduled. Quick response time. Will definitely recommend for the others who come to visit.

Walk in to this new and clean place and you are showered with treats and eats! The host really goes overboard to please her guests. Wonderful experience!

This place was a great base camp for all the surrounding hiking opportunities. We would've loved to spend more time on the porches just relaxing wonderful spot would definitely recommend.

Melanie's place exceeding our expectations! We had a large group attending a wedding nearby and this place was perfect for the group. Did not hear any complaints. Everyone spoke very highly of the accommodations. I have stayed at many Airbnb's and Melanie's place was the best thus far. The house is very spacious and clean, everything was in working order, the kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of bedrooms, other open spaces, the covered decks are great for sitting outside while enjoying the view. Beautiful surroundings with the river and sounds of birds in the trees. For a large group it is definitely worth the price. I would recommend to others and would definitely go back again if the opportunity presents itself.

The check in instructions were very clear and included helpful hints to find the location easily. The location was perfect to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. #retirementgoals The home was well stocked with kitchen items for making meals. There is no full size oven, but with the convection microwave and the large toaster/air fryer we did not miss having the full size oven. You can hear the waterfall from the back porch, and it was a short hike to view it's beautiful wonder. It rained the entire weekend but with the large covered front and back porches it was the relaxing time away we hoped for! Check out was super easy with a few basic items. There was not a laundry list of chores to do before departure. That is always appreciated!!

We loved our stay at the Big Bottom Bungalow. It was so beautiful and very private. The place was very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location, not too far from town or the beautiful waterfalls. It was also only 1 hour drive to Rock City, which was very cool to see. Overall we loved our stay here. We only had one snag, which was the lock on the gate when we first got there. We had no cell reception so had to drive back into town to message Justin. But he responded immediately and we resolved the issue fast. The hosts were very responsive to us, and kept us in the loop on the power outage at the location before we got there. Luckily it was all resolved before we got there, but it was nice to have a heads up. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting a private getaway.

We enjoyed our Stay at Micheal's cabin, the cabin was perfect for a quiet and calm getaway that we needed. We visited Twin Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Road horses on the way to Fall Creek Falls, and went to the Amish Market that offered amazing bread!!

The cabin in the woods was so relaxing when we wanted down time, and close to all kinds of things to do when we wanted action. We went to the riding stables just down the road. We rented a pontoon boat at Cotton’s Marina and explored the Caney fork river for a half a day, and we went waterfall chasing, ant the Fall creek falls state park. Absolutely magical area! Will definitely come back.

Beautiful home with everything you need. The home is a very comfortable & cozy place to stay. Views are amazing! Our big family enjoyed very much with plenty of room for gatherings and privacy for everyone. Lots of things to do. Highly recommend and Adrian is an excellent host.
